The Nets will be wearing New York Nets throwback uniforms February 6 vs. the Bulls and now, the NBA store is offering Deron Williams ABA Hardwood Classic jerseys online.

Re: NBA Off Topic
NBA analyst Charles Barkley has never been hesitant to speak his mind, and this week is no exception. The national TV personality let loose in an interview on ESPN radio in Chicago, bashing the quality of play in the NBA this lockout-shortened season.
“As a NBA fan, I want to apologize to the fans,” he said. “I cannot believe how bad the NBA is right now. I’m a fan first and foremost, and watching the NBA right now, I’m embarrassed about the product we’re putting out there right now. It’s no fun for me to watch these games. I feel bad for the fans.
“There are probably 10 teams worth watching on a nightly basis. They have all these built-in excuses about the lockout. Let me tell you something: If these teams played once a week, they would still suck. You watch one of these teams, and they rested for a week, they would still suck. I don’t know, man. I feel bad for the fans.”
Barkley’s rant was in response to a question about Derrick Rose, who shot 11-of-28 in the Chicago Bulls’ loss to the Miami Heat on Sunday afternoon. Barkley defended Rose — in fact, he went out of his way to call ESPN’s Skip Bayless “the biggest punk in the world” for bashing the Bulls’ guard — but he was still none too happy about the quality of play league-wide.#RespectTheCultureComment

Re: NBA Off Topic
Also, you combine the crazy *** schedule with the way a lot of these guys like to spend their free time and of course you're going to get ****ty results.
Chuck was on point with the comment about Skip Bayless though.Originally posted by bradtxmaleI like 6 inches. Its not too thin and not too thick. You get the support your body needs.

Re: NBA Off Topic
Haha I listened to that interview live. Chuck is hilarious. I think you have a point BNG, but at the same time, Chuck is right too about some of these guys. Even if the Wizards had a week of rest, they'd still suck. The Bobcats, etc.Comment

Re: NBA Off Topic
The block lettering and layout on this year's jerseys are meant to pay homage to the 1992 All-Star Game, which was held at Orlando Arena and featured Magic Johnson as the game's MVP. The jerseys start out dark and end up light, which is meant to convey an out-in-the-sun, faded approach. The shorts were inspired by board shorts.#RespectTheCultureComment

Re: NBA Off Topic
LeBron James was asked on Wednesday if he's considering entering the 2012 Slam Dunk contest.
“I have thought about it before and a few times in the past I kind of had an ankle injury that kind of kept me out of it and a couple of times I was just like, ‘You know what, I’m going to go in here and rest my legs for this weekend and then get back to the regular season,” James said. “But, I mean, they say a lot of the greats have done it and I’ve watched it over the years.”
James promised to participate three years ago but eventually backed out.
“I don’t know, I’ll be on the fence every year about it,” James said. “It’s always a fence year for me. I know they’re getting tired of me, though, so I’m not even going to start up nothing.”

Re: NBA Off Topic
I thought the exact same thing. I have Kobes ASG jersey from when the game was held in Dallas and it looks almost the exact same. Last years wasn't much different either if I recall. Ah well, guess theres less suspense while awaiting what the AS jerseys will look like each year. Seems Adidas has been more into adding in the newest supermicroelasticfibercyborg technology each year.Follow me on Twitter@DrewGarrisonSBNComment
