Re: NBA Off Topic
This Linsanity stuff driving prices up at the Garden. They know how to jump on something when it's trending.
Between the Knicks early season struggles and Amar’e Stoudemire and Carmelo Anthony both sidelined, ticket prices for Friday’s game vs. the Lakers took a major hit. The average price for the game fell from $544 in mid-January down to $400 on Tuesday, a drop of over 25%.
That all changed when Jeremy Lin burst onto the scene and Linsanity took over The Garden this week. After three great games by the Harvard grad–and three straight Knicks wins–prices have begun to climb, rising 27% since Tuesday from $407 to $517 (as of 2:45 PM today).
If you’d like to be there on Friday and take part in the next chapter of Linsanity, click here. And for the cheapest ticket available, a $135 seat in sec 417, click here.Comment

Damn man. T-Mac's eye got me rolling over here.
EDIT: On another note, Brandon Jennings basically says he's leaving Milwaukee.

Re: NBA Off Topic
Dont know how true this is but I think its time
Quote: The Big Three — Boston’s Big Three, as opposed to Miami’s or San Antonio’s — is over.
You probably already knew that after the Celtics mustered all of one win in their second-round ouster by the Heat last spring.
But with Paul Pierce dealing with heel issues, Kevin Garnett fading, Ray Allen still effective shooting threes but headed for his 37th birthday and the Celtics 5-8 entering the weekend, the team’s owners gave GM Danny Ainge the official go-ahead to move any member of the troika.
“We’ve got to move on,” said one Celtics official. “Let’s face reality."Comment

Re: NBA Off Topic
I was reading the SI issue before the Super Bowl (with Brady on the cover) and they had an interesting Pierce trade idea. What if the Celtics traded him to Atlanta for Josh Smith? Atlanta is in need of that veteran leadership/experience and clutch play, and Smith gives Boston a valuable and somewhat young piece in return.
Honestly though, I'd rather see Boston not trade him. I just feel he's one of the few players who should play out his last years with the team he started with, considering all he's been through and the ups and downs that have gone on in Boston throughout his career.
It's not like Boston is going to be locked down by his contract either, considering KG and Ray are coming off the books this offseason. They can keep Pierce and still have the flexibility needed to rebuild into a more youthful team.Originally posted by bradtxmaleI like 6 inches. Its not too thin and not too thick. Re: NBA Off Topic
I think Ray will be first out the door if anything. I'm not sure how or who they'd deal KG to since his contract is $21 mil.
Maybe to Indiana for something like Hibbert and West if they feel they can make a run? I highly doubt they'd want to give up on Hibbert though.Originally posted by bradtxmaleI like 6 inches. Its not too thin and not too thick. You get the support your body needs.
