It just looks like they're trying too hard lol.

I see these guys walking into the arena before the game and it looks like they just got off the tarmac from Milan or something hehe. Friggin 6'6 to 7' dudes rockin' some of these looks they do just looks strange man.

And if I insulted or offended some of you here on OS that frequently rock this "look", my apologies. You do your thing man lol.
I'm pretty sure European footballers always wear their team track suits or matching suit and tie when on gameday. I've yet to see a European player in any casual wear on gameday, especially if they are on the team sheet.

I'm talking how they dress in general, the gameday comment was directed towards the NBA players.

John Shannon of Sportsnet in Canada said on Friday that Glen Grunwald, former general manager of the Raptors, said 'no' to a trade that would have sent Dirk Nowitzki and Steve Nash to Toronto for Vince Carter and Antonio Davis.

Nowitzki and Nash were members of the Mavericks at the time.

          LOL

I feel terrible for Raptors fans.

          But wait...

That means Cuban offered them the trade.

Yeah but I'd take a grain or two of salt with that "report"

Reminds me of the "oh well, LeBron said he'd rather have JJ Hickson than Amare, and the Amare for Hickson deal was on the table" BS

            Lol

Any reported "almost trades" I hardly ever believe. But if others do so be it

That trade could have been true but I'd still call BS

I tend to take it more seriously when the GMs say it....

You think about it SFreak, they weren't quite "Dirk and Nash" yet...and Carter was a damn fool in Toronto

Guess we can just file it under "what if" like the potential Kidd/ Parker deal...

Does this mean that Dirk could've ended up in NJ somehow instead of Vince??

Don't do that to yourself man. Just don't. It won't end well.

I think its a case study on how Cuban has grown as an owner. In the long run, he's lucky the Toronto GM didn't have any foresight just like Cuban apparently did. This was the early years of Cuban running the team and I'm sure he was looking for the kind of big name and big highlights VC would bring and he lacked the knowledge or foresight to see the potential of Dirk and Nash. Same thing with the Toronto GM, he had it good with VC, big name, big highlights, good turnout, decent team, can't really blame him for not doing that trade at the time. Didn't know Antonio Davis would be nothing either.

Its sad that Jeremy Lin is the leader of a team with Carmelo Anthony and Amare Stoudemire on it.

Do 'Melo & STAT really fit the Superstar or Allstar tag? To me an Allstar & Superstar is a player that is really good & well rounded, yet both of them are really one sided, and not due to lack of defensive skill but lack of defensive effort.

No doubt that skill is mostly measured by the offensive side, and that's a shame in my opinion. I saw many top 10 lists with Carmello rated as #3-#7. How can you be a top 10 overall player in the game when you play only half of the game?
