Let's not go nuts. We bitch about LeBron not being in the dunk contest every single year despite the fact he clearly just doesn't want to do it for whatever reason. If these dudes just decided not to go to the Olympics to compete they'd be getting dogged out endlessly about not going.....kinda like what was happening before this recent USA resurgence back when we were losing in the Olympics. So yeah....you can save that 'not holding a gun' line.

They should go Blue/Gold no one besides the Warriors are doing that and that's more Blue/Yellow than Gold. Black/White could work as well since only the Spurs are on that train. Black/Red however is full. Bulls, Raptors, Blazers, Heat

Yeah I thought a new version of red / blue would be cool.

I loved these but a new spin on it would have been good imo.

I’m reading a lot of reports coming out about my comments re: the Olympics and compensation. And I want to clear this up personally...I responded 2 a specific question asked by a reporter on my thoughts of Olympians being paid. I never asked to be paid to PLAY. What I was referencing is there is a lot of Olympic business that happens that athletes are not a part of. It’s a complicated issue. BUT my love 4 the game & pride 4 USA motivates me more than any dollar amount. I repped my country in 2004 when we won the silver medal and stood proudly to receive our gold medal in 2008 in Beijing. It’s always been an honor for me to be a part of the USA Olympic family & I’m looking forward to doing it again in London this summer.

I don't know about the lottery being rigged. You've had teams like San Antonio, Seattle, Toronto, and Milwaukee win the lottery. In particular look at the years San Antonio and Seattle won. If it was really rigged don't you think they would have let Boston get Duncan or Durant/Oden?

BlueGold would be my first choice followed by Black/White

Pass on the Bred. I was annoyed the team dropped the gray and navy blue jerseys these past few years in favor of the red away jersey exclusively.

                    1. I want Black/White with Blue/Gold as my distant 2nd choice.

                    2. That link is simply a case of people doing way too much because you can't even tell what shirt that is. That's a case of piling on just to pile on at this point.

You're right about that, the fact that I wouldn't be surprised at all is what makes me sad. And considering Khloe said that Lamar "deserved so much more" from Dallas and the Mavs I'm just disgusted with it. I wish I could say I could ignore it by not watching ESPN but I love in Dallas its tough to ignore. He's gone now though so it should be dying down.

No Mack I dont think I will save that holding gun to head line but thanks for the suggestion. I could care less whether NBA players play in the Olympics. I was not begging for them to participate and I would not beat them over the head if they chose not to go. Just don't want to hear about wanting to be paid..Olympics should not be about that.

Thanks to 23 for posting Wade's clarification.

EA and 2k have the unfortunate task of trying to balance on a tightrope of fun and sim while trying not to fall 10,000 feet to their death. Instead of a safety net waiting down below there will just be angry customers quick to move out of the way and talk of their failure.

Was mad as hell at Wade when I saw the initial report, glad he cleared it up. Olympians should get paid NOTHING.

Have to agree on the lottery this year, I can see the Nets getting it.
