I would have a Bulls- Thunders final but I dont trust OKC's frontline offensively or Westbrooks decision making.
for some reason i'm not really impressed with OKC...

maybe it's because they tend to struggle vs Dallas even when the Mavs suck right now.....

but after seeing Westbrook, Perkins and Ibaka i don't think any of those guys have improved enough to make OKC the favorites.

In fact it would seem like to me that OKC would try to get someone inside who can score a little take some pressure off of KD and Westbrook like Chris Kaman. All i ever i see is Westbrook and Durant taking difficult shots all game. Perkins hasn't really improved their defense or inside game.

That's why I didn't understand all the talk when Perkins went there in the first place. His value was always overstated, but even his true value was tied to the chemistry of the Celtics. Obviously he's a better option than poor Green right now but he's nowhere near the missing piece many made him out to be.

I think the team would look a whole hell of a lot different/better if WB ran the team like a point guard as opposed to Kobe Bryant at point guard.

Starting Harden also would space the floor.

Perkins wasn't "the missing piece" either, but the addition was definitely needed and an enforcer like that is a requirement. Let's wait for the season to develop before we bring up the Perkins debate again.

How much better would OKC be if Tyson Chandler passed his physical a few years back?

Green could've stayed and took some of WBs shots away....made the offense a lot more fluid...

WB, Thab, Durant, Green, and Chandler.....Baka, Harden off the bench...

I wonder if Dr. Yates is still with OKC... lol

After examining Chandler's left big toe, Dr. Carlan Yates, Oklahoma City's team physician, determined that the risk of reinjury was too great to give Chandler a clean bill of health. He therefore advised the Thunder to rescind Tuesday's trade that landed them Chandler for Joe Smith, Chris Wilcox and the rights to DeVon Hardin.

For Joe f'n Smith and Chris f'n Wilcox???!?! I don't care if Chandler had his left foot cut off in a fishing accident, you take that trade.

Also, Dirk and Kidd owe Dr. Yates dinner or something.

I think it will come down to either the Mavericks or the Heat again. Mavs lost Chandler and Barea but they added some nice pieces in Odom, Vince and Delonte. They are going to be dangerous once everyone starts firing on all cylinders. The Heat are probably the favorites to win it all after how close they came last year, but I'm still not sure they can stop the explosive Mavs offense in crunch time. Dallas just has too many weapons. So I think the Mavs beat the Heat in 6 games again. Don't count out the Lakers though. If that team stays healthy they can be very dangerous.

Only team in the NBA to sweep a back to back to back......10-2 best in the west...i think the Thunder are sitting pretty.

Just wish Westbrook would pass it.......than shoot it.

The Lakers will most definitely win. Best combination of experience, size, killer instinct, and market.
