I'm pretty sure he meant he is a garbage player like he is a player that does the dirty work, not that he is a player that is garbage.

If that was the case, then my fault. Could have been a little clearer in his assessment though.

I thought most people would get what I meant by "garbage player". He's not a bum or garbage by any means and I've seen glimpses of offensive moves here & there but it's still nowhere near as consistent as any of the other Centers being brought up here. I simply meant that he's still an effort player.

BTW, there are a lot of Bulls fans in here that would drive Noah to the airport, lol.

Re: What Is Your Opinion On A Healthy Andrew Bynum?

I just wanna make sure I'm clear that if Andrew Bynum is healthy he is easily the second or even best center in the league. Everything you want your center to be, everything you look for in a quality big man, Andrew is that (minus the immaturity) and there is no reason to not have/want him on your team.

That being said, he is NEVER healthy. I know what the title of the thread is, but it's like asking 'what if Joe Johnson wasn't a disappearing artist' or 'what if Josh Smith got it?' Yeah it's all well and good to talk about for a while, but this is who they are, this is what they're going to be. That's not to say exactly that Bynum is who he is as far as injuries are concerned but he's been in the league 6 years and he's played in 66 games ONCE in his career and we've seen him disappear completely in the playoffs before. I don't think he's ever had a signficant performance in the playoffs in his career as a matter of fact. So if Bynum for Noah straight up is on the table right now, I'm not doing it. Bynum gives me two years of health and two solid playoff appearances and that kind of deal is on the table, Noah's getting shoved on the plane while Mitch is still on the other line.

Two of those Bynum injuries were freak accidents that would've taken anyone down.

                So Ex...

Just wondering what your thoughts are on Bynum seeing that the season is nearing completion.

19 ppg...12 rpg....2 bpg...56% shooting and an all star appearance to boot. Not to shabby eh?

Do you still say a healthy Bynum is "maybe a top 5 center"?
That you would consider taking Nene and Noah over him?

                Do tell...

Only thing that crazy about the post is Nene's name and Noah's name.. and Bogut I guess since his health is in question..

at me trying to pick Noah over Andrew [when healthy]

I'd take Bynum over everyone in your second and third paragraph....

                        And over Hortford no question

I'm taking Bynum over anybody not named Dwight.

And I think those are more like sentences than "paragraphs" TwoFour.

The only person I'd take over Bynum is Dwight. The dude's game is remarkable. He has a better post game and offensive game in general than Howard. The only thing I'd give Dwight is his defense and rebounding ability but that's mainly because of his athleticism. Well, at least some people know how to use it (*cough cough* Javale McGee *cough*)

If you tell me that Bynum will be healthy and on the court from here on out (mind you I know missing a few games a season isn't a deal breaker) then you damn right I'd pack Noah's **** up for him. However Bynum as of this writing has still yet to play 66 games in his career. As of this writing Bynum has still yet to put these kind of performances together for any significant amount of time and certainly not in the playoffs. This ain't 2K man. There are more factors at work to making trades than 'guy with this rating is higher than guy with that rating.' As it is right now, no I would not trade Noah for Bynum and his near twenty million dollar salary.
