This is not a trade rumor, I'm just throwing this out there as a topic. Dallas wants to get better on defense and the pacers need another reliable scorer. It makes sense for both teams. What do you guys think?

The Pacers don't need another Forward, we already have a lot of players who play the 3 and 4. Now, if Dallas wanted to give up Michael Finley that is someone the Pacers could use. Looking at the roster we didn't bring in a shooting guard to help scoring as we were weak last year at the 2, I know Miller will have a better year this year then he did last year but we need to be thinking about someone to take his place for the future.
Also, Artest is having a pretty good preseason. In the last 2 games he played in he scored 28 and 30 points. I know it is the preseason but if he can get his head on straight he could be a great defender and a good scorer. -
