How did Dallas fall asleep? It wasn't a 2 or 3 point game, it was a one point game so you have to defend the run to the basket and things inside the 3 point lane and they forced a super long three, Durant just made a great shot.

Anyone who was doubting whether or not Dallas is going to do well this season hopefully got silenced. They played solid defense, forced turnovers, showed some good looks on offense and they still didn't even shoot the ball particularly well. The Thunder saved themselves by shooting lights out from the field. Good win for the Thunder, I think they still win the West, but Dallas is going to be okay. Those two days off and that day of practice really came in handy. I don't think anybody honestly expected Dallas to be on the verge of winning the game.

There are obviously still a lot of things to improve, but at least this looked like a basketball team. Hopefully there's no hangover tomorrow night against the Raptors.

And about Mavs fans pulling their hair out...absolutely. We finally start playing well and the Thunder shoot over 60% from the field and Durant makes a ridiculous shot to win the game.

The movement to Durant was too slow. Watch it again. By the time they got there the ball was already way on the way to the hoop.

He's never been a good 3 point shooter or a guy that takes a lot of them either, but he said this offseason he's worked on it and added it to his game. He's 3 for 3 so far this year.

I would be absolutely with you if it was a 2 or 3 point game but in a 1 point game you have to guard more than a Durant 8 feet behind the 3 point lane shot. Durant had just missed one inside the 3 point line too. I would give a lot more credit to Durant than disparaging the Dallas defense.

I will say that as soon as he let it go I knew it was in.

You do but he has hit that bomb 3 as game winners a couple times. If Durant is rolling away from the basket you have to play tight on him and the defense was a step slow. Not putting the blame entirely on Dallas as that's just a ridiculous shot either way.

I'll still take Durant shooting that over any Thunder player shooting a 2.

Bulls should have a healthy lead in this one with 60 points at the half but the defense isn't nearly good enough for a championship contender. However, it's still early in the season.
