Yes, I guess reasonable people can disagree, but I'm not understanding how anyone can still prefer any other point guard over D. Rose.Jordan Mychal Lemos
@crypticjordan
Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.
Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.Comment

On a serious note, I would still take Paul over any PG in the league. Rose is mad gifted on the offensive end, but I would give Paul the edge due to his great D & passing skills.Comment

If I was starting a team and had to choose between the two of them to start and build with from there, I'd take Rose in a hearbeat. If my team was already set and the only piece missing was a point guard, I'd take Paul in a heartbeat.Comment

I hate to be that guy, but I would love to see what Deron Williams would do on Chicago or LAC. I'm not going to count him out yet, but yes through week 1 and all that we've seen out of these PG's to this point in their careers, I would say CP3 and Rose are slightly in the lead.
My preference is for CP3, but I'm not going to argue if someone picks Williams or Rose, is basically my thinking. I will argue if someone names Westbrook, Rondo or Nash.Comment

Re: Game Discussion Thread 12/25/11-1/1/12
Sort of like that great D Paul played on Rose last night? Lol
Rose crossed Paul out of his shoes a couple times and Rose definitely played the better defense of the two. I still don't think, outside of gamble steals that Paul is as good of a defender as everyone makes him out to be.
Outside of passing ability, which even last night Rose was better, Rose is superior in virtually every other category.
If Rose plays like he did last night, meaning, being aggressive, attacking the defense and making smart decisions with the basketball the rest of the season and the Bulls get the #1 seed, Rose will be right up there in the MVP race again, if not win it.Comment

Also, that superior passing ability that CP3 has over Rose makes the difference IMO. Rose is one hell of a competitor and has superior endurance to almost any other PG. He never stops attacking and penetrating, while CP3 got tired.Comment

Drew looks really nice right now, but he gassed quick lol.
Mike Brown being so vocal and hands on with his players is a breath of fresh air. I loved Phil, love him to death, but I feel like some of these players need to be talked to on a regular basis instead of just random moments. Love to hear Brown yelling all game and then he just talked to Drew when he came out.Comment

Fisher will never not be aggressive with his shots. It's hilarious. Doesn't matter how old he gets he has no inhibitions to put shots up.
Barnes looks active early on in the season, I like it. I feel like the extinction of the triangle has given a lot of guys new life: Barnes, Artest, Blake... Kobe and Pau seem to like it too.Comment

I'm good with Mike Brown calling timeouts when the team blows it on execution on either end.
