Mavs had alot of change to integrate in a shortened offseason. It shows.

I know there will be some regular OSers to come in here and break it down in more detail and write a 2 or 3 paragraph post explaining why no doubt lol.

But I'm sorry if this is only game one, the damn Heat look ridiculous right now. Their defense, their transition game, their rotations, every thing just looks like mid season fine tuned form. I'm sure by mid to late season these two teams won't look so far apart.

Because right now the Heat look much better than the Mavs, and saying much isn't really a big enough word to describe it.

Behind Stacey King (bulls fans know who I'm talking about), Jeff Van Gundy is my 2nd favorite commentator. He says whatever comes to mind, no filter lol.

Mavs are getting "zipped up". Shout out to Tu Holloway.

Alot of people hate on Jvg but he called out league pass pricing, flopping, and the legitimacy of the lockout. Have at it Jeff

They don't have a lot of time to go through a lot of growing pains. Looks like the person they miss most is Chandler on the defensive end. Cuban better pray that he can convince Dwight or Deron to come to Dallas. Or he just made a stupid move letting so many guys walk.

LeBron flopping is already a tradition. Like Christmas.

It seems like a lot of people here and other places don't like JVG... I personally think he's legit. But Mark Jackson? ugggh

I usually agree with whatever JVG rants about.

He's great from a X's & O's standpoint, but his constant ranting I can do without. He did mak some legitimate points about the (bogus) lockout and League Pass pricing.

I don't like the media, ESPN, trying to help LeBron rehab his image. Somewhere between 40-75% of the leagues players had a similar childhood to LeBron. I respect his philantropic efforts, though.

I actually enjoy JVG's rants. Dude is a clown man. And even though I find whatever he says funny, a lot of what he speaks is truth.

And they are really working on LeBrons image this year aren't they?

I was shocked they went straight to a cut on Lebrons tribulations growing up. Of all things they could've spent highlighting after the lockout.

Guess not all that shocking though.

Man, the Heat is making the Mavs look like a YMCA rec league team now.
