Re: Game Discussion Thread 12/25/11-1/1/12
I would move Westbrook if I was OKC. Yes he is a top notch athlete, but I don't think he is ever going to get it mentally. I don't think that it is a byproduct of his age either(Harden is a year younger, but an exponentially more mature player) some players just are never going to be cerebral players/and or students of the game. That is not going to cut it for your starting PG.Jordan Mychal Lemos

Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.
Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.Comment

Spurs really need to find more size in the paint. Pop has Blair playing center, while Jefferson plays power forward. I like how aggressive Blair is on offense. Spurs have 16 more of these ****ing back-to-back games. ****, I hate this condensed schedule.

Not sure one way or the other, but I'll say this.
1. We heard about Westbrook "talking" about his extension with OKC. That doesn't seem to be settled yet.
2. Westbrook has shown time and time again that he lets his frustrations and emotions get the best of him. Wonder how he feels under the microscope and receiving criticism from being "Durants Point Guard"
3. Maynor isn't a bad point guard by any means.
Not sure I'd be ready to part ways with Westbrook as OKC though.

Sacramento still playing 'playground' style offense.I have more respect for a man who let's me know where he stands, even if he's wrong. Than the one who comes up like an angel and is nothing but a devil. - Malcolm XComment

OKC will be praying they did once contract extension time comes.Comment

I respect the OKC crowd for that Westbrook chant. They're great.Comment

He is a explosive point guard with bad decision making and a bad attitude at times. OKC's future for me is that of KG and Marbury. I might be wrong but we'll see.Comment

I'm not abandoning him but his attitude and his ego play a lot into. Things that are harder to change in a way than developing a better jump shot. As I said last year, of the top point guards Thunder would be better with everyone one them. D-Will, CP3, Rondo, Rose. Maybe Tony Parker.

Think Westbrook can sort things out still, potentially, though. OKCs biggest worry needs to be his extension, seems like a cat who might not stick with it.
