So I know alot of you guys love offensive execution. How do you feel about drawing up that Durant play? It worked, it's worked (this is about the 3rd or 4th time I've watched it play out), but it just strikes me as crazy to rely on Durant shooting it from that distance.

And yes I know it's better than Kobe Iso into getting stuffed, beside the point.

I have no idea what Carlisle was thinking.

EVERYONE knows the ball is going to Durant. Why Dirk is not shadowing him instead of defending the corner 3 pass off the inbounds baffled me immediately.

Whether he hit the shot or not I think they played that scenario completely wrong. Dirk should have not faced the inbounder and covered the first man out of the 4 players FT line setup. That's a high school play - there's no reason they couldn't defend that better than they did.

Force someone else to beat you. Westbrook freaks out often and the Thunder don't see Harden as a big option (obviously you can see why). So you defend Durant at all costs.

The sad thing is he wasn't even playing poor defense. He was positioned well and had a hand in his face most of those shots.

Excited to see some more Kemba and Bismack tonight. Although, I think Dwight is going to score at least 83 points on us.

I hope that Bismack get more playing time. He had a great block against Bosh, and I think Bosh was surprised by it.

Yeah - it's not the first time. This is why it was even more surprising to me when I saw how they defended it.

So was Amare in foul trouble last night? I only caught the first quarter but did he seriously only get 2 rebounds against us?

How is that even possible? He should mistakenly get at least 6 rebounds a game just by using his athleticism.

No foul trouble. Dude just doesn't box-out. He's never been a good rebounder, but he's been trash this season

The Laker shot 72% for the FIRST HALF.

You can imagine there weren't many rebounds to be had.

He has also been conceding to Chandler immensely on the boards.

But I find it funny though. Carmelo was going crazy when Ebanks was covering him. As soon as Artest came in the game. You couldn't find him on the floor.

Well, as I said earlier, conventional thinking is pretty much out the window. Well played game by the Lakers from what I saw.

On the flip side, there is something about that Knicks team that just doesn't gel to me. It seems like I patch work team with pieces that don't compliment each other.

Knicks fans can please correct me if I'm wrong, but even last year, watching this team sparingly when I was living in NY, it just seemed like this team didn't have a true identity. Yes, they love to score obviously, but Melo is a half court guy, Amare is a pick and roll big, Douglas is seemingly a run and gun PG and now with Chandler, who can't stretch the floor, seems to clog up Amare's space where he likes to score.

It just seems like they have a bunch of good pieces, that don't work together. I remember even talking to one of my roommates who was a big Knicks fan, right after Melo got traded, that Stat was going to struggle, and he said "no way man."

I think last year Billups was really the glue to that team. Can facilitate when needed, can run the pick and roll well and knew when and where to get Melo the ball. Yeah they added Chandler but I feel like they maybe took a step back in terms of chemistry.

Good synopsis. Pretty accurate.

I hated losing Felton. He made this team go. Billups was too injury prone.

Chandler isn't going to have a big effect offensively. Our problems haven't been bigs as of yet. It has been the inability to stop guards. That lies with Fields/Douglas/Bibby/etc.
