That's not the point though, the point is what you see today is a result of a ton of enablement from alot of people
Now he'll say things like yeah if Chris Paul was here i would've taken 40 shots instead of 27 and really he meant it because what's it going to matter...Comment

Lakers D at a huge fault last night. They put up enough points to win despite a awkward 2nd half.
They need too also learn how to play out of the post. Bad spacing. Bynum would get doubled and all teammates to pass to required trying to pass through too many guys.
They pass the ball to Bynum in the post then stood and watched as opposed to cutting or trying to free up while the second defender was sent.
But the D was horrid, partnered with poor shot selection.
I expected the loss @ Portland but another very winnable game at half. Lots of work to do still

Like I said, enabling or defending or what have you, it's awful difficult to change things when you have 5 rings and 7 finals appearances. That's all I'm sayin, it is what it is. Let's not act as if it would have been so easy to stop Kobe from doing Kobe. LolComment

and no doubt about it, thats why I just mentioned about defense, you can't teach an old dog new tricks
He wont defend too well and wont chase after guys either and his teammates are looking at that and will not exceed that effort on D
He wasnt even paying attention to Mike Brown when he was screaming like a mad man
..but yeah its not the rings that started this whole thing as you said he was doing it since he came into the league, telling coaches off and was still allowed to do it anywayComment

Don't get it twisted though ex. Not saying I care what those people say or that it would have been easy to stop Kobe from what he was doing. Thing is there were so many people defending to the death what he was doing and enabling it and he's doing the same thing now and a lot of folks (doesn't exactly mean you guys here) are acting shocked and coming down on Kobe as if this is something new. This is what it's going to be for as long as he laces them up.
