Re: Game Discussion Thread 1/16/12 - 1/22/12
Another day, another tough loss. It is nice to know that the Mavs' defense is pretty much always gonna keep them in games. The difference in these two losses has been the Mavs not shooting well. The Mavs were lights out during the win streak and now they've gone back to ice cold. Hopefully they can heat up again tomorrow night against the Jazz.
EDIT: On the other hand, the Clippers are looking like they might be for real. Very impressive performance without their on-court leader. I know Mo Williams stepped up big but if they can get good contributions from the veterans to go along with the obvious ones from CP3, Griffin and Jordan, they'll be a force.Last edited by SteelersFreak; 01-19-2012, 02:03 AM.NFL: Pittsburgh Steelers

Eh, Dirk's release is far too long for him to get a shot off in 1 second. Terry is about the only Mav that can get a decent shot off in that amount of time and they covered him up nicely.

Definitely understand that, and it still hinges on how much and how consistently guys like Mo Williams, Randy Foye, Chauncey Billups and Reggie Evans step up.NFL: Pittsburgh Steelers

I like the blue. Uniform still looked a little too modern to throw old school colors on it. I would like to see the Mavs do a legitimate throwback occasionally though. I suppose there's too many bad memories associated with those though.NFL: Pittsburgh Steelers

Re: Game Discussion Thread 1/16/12 - 1/22/12
Scott Brooks is awful at drawing up last second plays
Sure Durant can hit long bombs...but you dont continually put him in position to fail
He runs the same weak screen from the same side of the floor every single time... if you didnt see it tonight dont worry, because it was the exact same play as the last time... the defense is always on top of it and Durant always misses it
As O saod. sire Diramt can hit long bombs, but why have him taking low percentage shots from 25-27 feet out when he can drive or just take a nice open midrange shot?
It makes absolutely no sense at allComment
