Shaq still acts like a big kid

He's either singing a song, making some kind of crazy noise, giving one of his witty one liners, or saying stuff like the reason Kevin Love does so well is because "nobody gets up for Minnesota"

Really? I like Webber the most out of all of them. He may seem "boring" to some, but it's a great contrast imo. You already have Chuck there to bring the comedy, so to me there's no need for Shaq. C-Webb articulates himself well and has great insight.

I can hardly hear/understand what Shaq says half the time.

agreed. I would say he is great though, not just good. Shaq is instant entertainment. He acts like a big kid. He may not have the most amazingly in-depth analysis EVARRRR, but he's entertaining so who cares about that?

He hasn't been that entertaining though.... IMO

Chuck and Kenny were entertaining enough and Webber and Ernie were a good balance to them.

Shaq doesn't entertain me at all.....We all know Chuck is the most entertaining person on the show

I seriously hope that Mike Brown does something about the Lakers today. We have to play right.

And please, stop taking so many shots Mr.81, just give the ball to Drew and Pau. They can score too, show everyone you're a playmaker too if you want too. And last, but not least, let's bring a W, a good one if possible. Show Howard who's in charge Drew.

Kobe needs to simply realize he has to go into 2007-2008 mode if they're going to have any chance to win. This means looking to make plays for others. They have literally no other playmaker on the team. It's a scary thought.

Scoring a bunch of points and taking a bunch of shots isn't going to get them anywhere except swept out again.

I think Shaq is still finding himself as a commentator though. It's still early for him, he's a rookie yet. I also think TNT is trying to figure out how best to utilize his talents. It seemed when he made funny faces or gestures, or was just "Shaq being Shaq", the cameras were too slow to cut to him, so by the time they did it was over. I think the producers might be trying too hard to force Shaq to come across a certain way, etc. I think he'll get better in time. From what I saw last night, that Shaq Fu, Shaolin master bit made me crack up. I love when Shaq uses his "serious" voice and says some stupid ****. "Don't ever disrespect the Shaolin Master again". Dude is just naturally funny.

Before the game winner he hit in Dallas...Lakers fans were saying the same thing about Fisher.

Morris needs time.

The thing I don't understand is why did the Lakers...particularly on offense...look so good in the preseason.

Same goes for the Knicks actually.

Possibly both teams have already tuned out their coaches.
And not surprisingly...both teams have Iso players who are not giving up the ball. I read in the last 5 games...Melo has shot 35-102 from the field.

Morris needs time that the Lakers simply don't have. He's not going to be much better within this year even if he plays every game. He's a project guy at best, but a good project potentially. Fisher has never been the answer and because he hit a game winner which I don't even acknowledge in such a piss poor game, and somethings gotta give.

Dude's a clown on there(literally)to the point where there are times I'll skip the Halftime/Postgame show. But then again, don't have any other options since ESPN's crew is 200 x's worse.

Like Ex said, they had the perfect balance in terms of funny with Charles and Kenny, so why go mess with that? Just to say, "Hey everybody, we got Shaq! He may not be funny or bring anything to the table...but we got Shaq!"?
