Oh I agree. I mean the schedule is a part of it but I can't explain why some of these teams look so bad....except for the Nets. I know why the Nets suck.

I wouldn't call Derek Fisher, Steve Blake (I know they don't have him right now), MWP, Kapono, McRoberts, or Troy Murphy bums. Plenty of teams would love to have those guys on a second line.

Fisher is awful. There's no way Lakers can't find a pg better than him.

Really Stacy? Mike Jones reference? lol

Derrick Rose's toe is a blessing in disguise. Let these guys get confidence knowing they CAN play and win without Rose. Granted it's the Cavs, but the Cavs aren't as bad as everyone believes they are/were.

BTW it is Mamba time and not the one that resides in LA.

Ryan Anderson is my early favorite to win the 3 point contest.

SERIOUS QUESTION FOR ALL KNICKS FANS

If you could trade Melo for D-Will right now.......would you do it?

Jersey gets the guy they wanted to open the new arena with.......Knicks get a point guard who instantly makes everyone on that team better + runs that type of offense + would be a lethal pick and roll guy with Amare'.
              Yes.

You can win playing inside-out. Not Iso & chuck it.

Don't get me wrong...I think the 2 of them would be able to make something happen under a different coach.

But Melo is who he is. I don't see him changing his stripes unless you had a Phil Jackson coaching him.

It's the same argument I make with Russell Westbrook but people aren't seeing that so oh well.

Anyone who says they'd rather have Carmelo over Deron Williams in a D'Antoni/Amare/PNR offense should have their sports watching privileges revoked.

Carmelo and Westbrook are by far the two most overrated players in the league.

                  Nah, they would still suck.

Tyreke Evans has a beautiful Euro-step ala Manu and Wade. I think he traveled on that move passed Tiago, though.

What could possibly lead you to say something like that, considering Deron is an unbelievable PNR player and would allow them to play the way they're supposed to play? You DID see them play with Felton, right? Now imagine that with Deron Williams instead.

Lakers need alot of things, but pg and 3 point specialists need to be at the top of the list.

Oh god. I'm still watching this game, and I'm baffled with this Lakers D.

How many offensive rebounds did the Lakers gave to the Magic already ?!

Why'd ORL sign J-Rich to that contract again???

I see people are finally starting to realize and/or come around to the fact that Melo is overrated. Dude is not the franchise player a lot of people was making him out to be. I still laugh anytime I hear somebody want to try and say he is the best scorer in the league. I never understood that at all.

Yeah, but would he help defensively and make D'Antoni's offense anything but a regular season gimmick/farce. The Knicks suck because they don't have a defensive identity, while both Amar'e and Carmelo need the ball to be effective. Williams would help the offense look better but the team would get raped just to acquire him (like the Anthony trade).
