Seeing the Knicks, Celtics and Lakers struggle does make me feel a little better. No offense.

Just looking at the statline across the bottom of the screen... can you imagine if Lebron & Bosh would have joined up in Cleveland? Lebron stays put, gets his 2nd fiddle in Bosh, still have the supporting cast that Lebron was used to, and he knew how to make them better... They would be tough to beat.

I have watched almost every Knick game and I don't think Amare has even hardly touched the ball in the 4th quarter of the past 5 or 6 games.

I mean, it's like he's not even there.

I have no idea WTF is going on between him, Melo and Pringles. Something is seriously wrong.

I don't consider the Knicks struggling.

This is a complete lack if coaching, effort, intensity, defense, teamwork and heart.

Those other teams you named are actually good.

How is that on D'Antoni? When he was in Phoenix with Amar'e, Amar'e practically lived in the paint. They need a true point guard to effectively run that fun-and-gun offense. It would also help if they would actually play some defense.

I just don't think D'Antoni can really adjust to coaching a isolation/ball stopper like Carmelo. He's the complete opposite of the type of player that Nash (the best player Phoenix) is, obviously. I think he'd do a much better job with a guy like LeBron because LeBron can score like crazy (ala Carmelo) but can create offense for others. He can also intiate the offense and run pick-and-roll as scorer or passer.

Ha, Mike James is back in the NBA. Dude has to be the oldest guy or one of the oldest in the league. Is Mike from NY?

When your playset begins and ends with Amare standing at the 3 point line...who exactly is that on?

Co-sign what bigeastbumrush said. But how is it a point guard's fault? Different team, different players. It's a coaches job to figure out how to make that work.

Sure we'd be better off with a true PG, but that's not why Amar'e isn't seeing the ball.

You don't need a PG to "give it to Melo" whilst everyone else clears out.

They don't run any offense down the stretch of games other than "give it to Melo".

It's weird watching a D'Antoni offense essentially transform itself into a Mike Brown offense down the stretch....only without the D.

Completely agree. I always maintained that all that team needed was a legit 2nd option. Keep all the other guys in place, like Mo, Andy... it would have been a fun team to watch.

IDK, Lakeshow IMO are not really a "good" team. But not worth discussing. Boston will at least be a tough out in the playoffs. I could see LA getting swept again.
