Yeah, in terms of position to potential I get you. Should be interesting, more than a few projections are open for interpretation. Not that that's anything new.

The exact reason I want nothing to do with Harrison Barnes:

Harrison Barnes came into my life on a Friday afternoon in 2009, when he held a press conference to announce his decision to attend the University of North Carolina. I've always held a perhaps unhealthy fascination with these Signing Day spectacles — they are tacky and weird and self-serving, sure, but there's something undeniably great about seeing a 17- or 18-year-old kid take his first public step toward greatness, bust-infamy, or the quiet, dark space of unmet expectations. Barnes, who in a recent Atlantic article admitted that one reason he returned to North Carolina for his sophomore season was to enhance his "brand," certainly proved himself to be the showman.
So ****ing sick of hearing this from athletes.

What about Austin Rivers making the jump. As much as Barnes needs to come back. Austin Rivers is on the same level. He could use another year in the Duke system. He such a one on one player right now. Also I can't remember him driving left one time this season smh.

If Rivers has the blessing of Coach K and from his dad, I'd say he's ready. I don't see what one more year of college will do for him. He's either going to be a good NBA guard or he's gonna be a bust.

He'd go regardless if he didn't have either of their blessing, especially since it was known before that he was only going to be at dook for one year and the bounce.

C.J. McCollum will enter the draft without an agent according to Lehigh: http://bit.ly/GYaG9g - will use the 4/10 deadline instead of 4/29.

True. BUT this was in reply to guys who says that he's not ready and needs to stay another year. I'll take Coach K and Doc's word that he's ready.

Again, K and Doc can tell US if they don't think he's ready or not all they want, that still doesn't change the fact that he was going to be one and done regardless of if they thought he was ready or not. Hell, if there wasn't a 1 year rule in place, he would've made the jump from HS.

This isn't like Kyrie, where in his 9-10 games he showed that he was ready for the NBA and could make the transition there. Outside of the Carolina game, what has he shown to think he's ready for the NBA? Outside of the fact that he loves driving to his left LOL.

No one is arguing that Rivers was gonna leave regardless of what Coach K and his dad said. Yes, I already know that.

And in terms of NBA ready, Kyrie was much of a question mark as Rivers is. The fact that Irving only played 10 games is a question within itself in terms of durability.

Did Rivers have a mind blowing season? Not at all. BUT you do get guys who for reasons beyond their control that they end up being better in the pros than in college. Guys like Rajon Rondo, Carlos Boozer and David Lee. All guys with unimpressive college careers that turned out with better NBA careers. Rivers to me will be that same type of player.
