There are a lot of names that don't deserve to be in this thread like Gallinari, Rose, Jamal Crawford, Josh Smith, etc...

Jordan? really? First 3 years, 29.3 points (on 21 shots per game), on 48% shooting, 4.5 assists...and all of those numbers are low because of his 1986 season, when he played hurt for the last 10 or 11 games, and wasn't allowed more than 22 minutes per game by the GM

I could see calling him a chucker in 1987, but not for his first 3 years. His rookie year, he averaged 28 points, 6 assists, and shot 52% from the field.

I've never understood the idea that Jordan was a huge ball hog in his prime ('87-'93) - he averaged well over 30 points, shot 52% from the field...why wouldn't you WANT him shooting as much as he could? and he averaged 6.0 assists during that span...but anyway.

jordans first three years he was taking shots with 2 an 3 people guarding him (he did this routinely as in every game! lol) being a pecan with the ball doesnt have to mean you shoot a low percentage

Dennis "3D" Scott, Chuck "The Rifleman" Person, Antoine Walker and Ricky "Get Buckets" Davis are great nominations.

And I have to include Vernon Maxwell among this group too. Couldn't tell him not to shoot and expect him to take heed. If his mind was made up, Mad Max was firing with no questions asked.

Great call on Mad Max and Ricky Davis. Those two never met a shot they didn't like.

              yes, he does..
Jordan Crawford yes, ~17 shots per 36mins in his first 1.5yrs in the league, mostly off the bench in a reserve role.

Jamal Crawford ~14 shots per 36mins in his career as a starter (CHI & NYK) and then as a premier 6 man called on to score.

Before this year he would have been considered a chucker. His improved shot has taken him off the list.

How about Mike Bibby or Jason Williams? Or better yet... Mookie Blaylock!

Are we really in this thread trying to call Michael Jordan one of the worst chuckers of all time? GTFO

I'd like to nominate Toney Douglas and Chauncey Billups if your player is on the Knicks in NBA 2K11.

Some people ITT have seen a guy take two contested shots and decided he's a chucker.

You are reaching big-time. Mookie was a great on the ball defender and not even close to being a volume scorer.

Maybe Jason Williams in the sense that he took some ill-advised shots at times but Bibby's shot selection was pretty solid.

I mean you see the title of the thread and someone mentions Derrick Rose? Michael Beasley? Mookie Blaylock?? WTF is this?

                                Carmelo.

Not only is he a black hole on offense, but he's also consistently among the lowest FG percentage of all the league's top scorers:

                                1. Kobe Bryant 30.0 PPG -- .455 FG%
                                2. LeBron James 29.2 PPG -- .549 FG%
                                3. Kevin Durant 26.3 PPG --.507 FG%
                                4. Kevin Love 24.9 PPG -- .437 FG%
                                5. Carmelo Anthony 23.6 PPG -- .394 FG%
                                6. LaMarcus Aldridge 22.5 PPG -- .497 FG%
                                7. Monta Ellis 21.4 PPG -- .414 FG%
                                8. Blake Griffin 21.3 PPG -- .521 FG%
                                9. Chris Bosh 21.2 PPG -- .527 FG%
                                10. Russell Westbrook 20.8 PPG -- .456 FG%

Classic example of a "volume scorer."
