Lakers shed some salary, keep Gasol, and get an upgrade at the point position...

Bynum goes to Indiana and makes the Pacers a threat in the East.

    Win/Win

Would never happen, but would be great if it did.

I'll even give them Hansbrough and take back McBob.... (Should still be a pacer anyway)

Re: Make your team better by using ESPN.com Trade Machine

Why does the Trade Machine not work sometime?

          Someone run this for me:

4 Way deal between Indiana, Orlando, LA Lakers, New Jersey Nets

          Pacers Get:
          Andrew Bynum from LA Lakers
          Hedo Turkoglu from ORL
          Marshon Brooks from NJN

          LA Lakers Get
          Danny Granger from IND
          Roy Hibbert from IND
          Darren Collison from IND

          Orlando Magic Get
          Pau Gasol from LA Lakers
          Brook Lopez from NJ Nets

          New Jersey Nets Get
          Dwight Howard from ORL
          Josh McRoberts from LA Lakers

A HIGHLY fictional trade, but still... Who wins? Who loses? Who says yes, who says no?

There will be picks thrown in as well, but I don't see a way to do picks on the trade machine, so this is the bare bones version of the trade.

If I'm Indiana, I do it. Get Bynum and Marshon, two young ballers who when paired with George Hill and Paul George, would be a VERY nice core group of players.

If I'm LA Lakers, I do it, you move Artest off of the bench, removing some of the scoring load from Kobe, as Granger can give you some offensive fire power. You get your Point Guard in Darren Collison, who has been playing decent ball lately, and lets face it, is an upgrade over what they currently have. You get Hibbert, who's a big body,is Young, extremely skilled, just needs to have someone work with him.

If I'm ORL, I do it. You lose Howard, you get rid of Turkey-glue's contract, and you get back Pau, who they're for some reason interested in, as well as Brook Lopez, another very nice young Big. There will be some nice picks coming from the other teams in the trade as well. Don't let D-12 walk for nothing. Trade him.

If you're NJN, you get Howard at the price of Brook Lopez and Marshon Brooks... How would you not do it? Yeah, you can roll the dice and see if he'll sign in the offseason, and potentially lose out on Deron and D-12. You also pick up a fiesty dirty McBob from LA as well, who would bring some grit to an otherwise soft team.

Make it happen GM's. As much as I'd hate to lose Granger, I think having a healthy Bynum, and a budding star in Brooks make it oh so worthwhile,

(Monta Ellis and Dorrell Wright for Mike Beasley, Wes Johnson, and Derrick Williams)

if i'm minnesota i do the deal. i may do the deal if i'm GSW. for sure minnesota, maybe GSW.

as far as the bulls/rockets/lakers scenario,

what i've been thinking is Boozer and Lowry to the lakers
            Gasol to the Bulls
Watson and the rights to Mirotic to the Rockets. if someone wants to put that in the trade machine thing go ahead

haha,,,.. I know how bad a deal is this for pretty much all the 4 teams lol
I just wanted to see what it would take to get howard to the heat and just selected dudes with high salaries and placed them on random teams and luckily the trade was shown successful..lol.

Bynum for Howard... Gasol for D.Will , I think this is what Kupchak wants to do. It's not all that realistic on the Nets side of things but, on paper it makes us better.9+ wins I would take the Howard trade but I don't want to get rid of Gasol.
