I refuse to lower my standards for what constitutes as dunk because someone literally throws the ball into the basket(Damn you, Duhwight!).

But like I said earlier, at least he touched the rim this time so he is making progress.

Posted by Ben Golliver and Royce Young

Los Angeles Clippers All-Star forward Blake Griffin threw down the dunk of the 2011-2012 season by going up and over Oklahoma City Thunder center Kendrick Perkins during a game at the Staples Center on Monday night. The dunk was reminiscent of his famous dunk from last season, when he went up and over then New York Knicks center Timofey Mozgov.

Miami Heat All-Star forward LeBron James immediately tweeted: "Dunk of the Year!! Blake Griffin just dunked on Kendrick Perkins so hard!! Wow!! I guess I'm #2 now. Move over #6." James is referring to his dunk on Sunday night when he jumped completely over Chicago Bulls guard John Lucas III to complete an alley-oop from All-Star guard Dwyane Wade.

Only thing I'm definitely not going to like is BSPN bastardizing this dunk tomorrow. It will be all they talk about all week.

Put it like this then that was the most vicious, humiliating non-dunk I've ever seen. Perkins will never live that highlight down. Like Ewing against Jordan and Pippen posterizing him in the playoffs (with the added shove by Pip).

My man Perk isn't gonna stand for that.

Dude looked pissed off as it is most of the time, so I feel sorry for the next person who will even attempt to actually dunk on him because he won't fall for that LOL.

Not trying to be a homer or nothing but I think Wades dunk on Perkins was better j/s

I'd imagine Timofey Mozgov will sleep well tonight.

And wow, did the dunk really break Twitter? That's crazy, I haven't been on there in so long.

Chris Paul really finishing this game strong. OKC just can't climb back with Paul answering ever time they get a bucket.

Once again CP3 proving why he's one of the best closers in the game and also why he needs the ball almost all the time.

I almost forgot the Clippers didn't trade Bledsoe.

Nah, Perk wasn't in great shape and was still trying to adjust to his knee surgery. Now, he's lost weight, he's adjusted to the knee and looks like he has more lift in his legs. His mistake was that his elevator only went to the 6th floor, while Blake's elevator went to 20th floor/penthouse suite.
