Re: NBA Game Discussion Thread 1/30/12 - 2/04/12

The Clipps were up big time on the Thunder... then the Thunder comes back.. then all of a sudden it was like a Matrix glitch and the Clippers pull a Tmac 13 in 35 on the Thunder... then halftime comes and they're playing again but not matrix like... then bam, Blake just super smashed it over Perk's head out of nowhere... so people were excited, and it was an exciting play

I don't think it was hyped... like i tell people about MJ, sometimes it was the play that led up to the dunk or the situation that led up to the dunk that made it even more exciting than normal.

here's the part where he says it

Kyle Weidie of Truth About It on John Wall vs. Derrick Rose: "Wall come out in full-on attack mode versus Rose. No, he wasn’t trying to match a league M.V.P. in a contest of who could piss the furthest, rather, he had to look for his offense in hopes of sparking something for Washington against a stingy Chicago defense. But the fact that Rose had 13 points (6-8 FGs) and 3 assists in the first quarter to Wall’s 8 points (3-7 FGs) and zero assists in the period pretty much sums up the story of the night. When asked after the game, and in light of Rose’s performance, about the difficulties of developing decision-making as a point guard (when to look for yourself, when to look for teammates), Wall said, 'It’s not hard when you got guys like Kyle Korver that can make shots, and you can run off down screens and a guy like Carlos Boozer that can pick-and-pop, and Luol Deng and guys you can run plays for that make shots and create their own shots, it’s kind of easy.' Sure it is, John, sure it is."

This preety much sums it up. Rose wasn't always in a top 3 team of the league, and he worked his *** off to get to where he is now.

He basically just took a shot at his whole team, which people aren't seeing.

Wall has as much TALENT as Rose, and Wall knows this. This means that he probably wants out, so he can go somewhere to get better and compete with guys like Rose.

Agreed on Wall. That dude has tremendous talent. If he had the intangibles of a Chris Paul or Derrick Rose, John Wall would be hands down the best PG in the league. He'd also be a top 5 player in the league and probably be chasing LeBron for best player in the league status. The kid is that good. I just hope he reaches his potential.

Ifs dont happen.. wont happen and never have happened.. Running fast and jumping is not a barometer of talent. or future potential.

Agree is physical talents don't foretell he will be or is top tier talent.

Like Wall alot will be some time before we see what he can become as long as his situation doesn't improve

He's from my state (NC) so I definitely wanna see him in a better situation than D.C.

So LeBron alleys over Lucas Sunday, Blake posterized Perkins last night.

If Rudy Gay doesn't dunk over Nene while doing a 360 between the leg reverse windmill I will be sorely disappointed.

I guess this is the Nba we live in.. Thanks Lebron..wanting people that should be leaders.. in another situation.. HE IS THE PROBLEM or a big part of it.. leadership.. John Wall is not a leader hs a gifted athlete maybe nothing more.. but we dont know that at the moment.. we do know hes not being the type of player that promotes and seeds a winning attitude..
