Re: NBA Game Discussion Thread 1/30/12 - 2/04/12
32 points on 14-21 shooting, 11 assists, 3 steals, 5 rebounds.
This is why I believe CP3 is the best PG in the NBA. The dude can score if he wanted to every night, he just chooses not to because that's not his style.Comment

I know a lot of guys don't like flopping, but if a guy can repeatedly do it and be successful, it has to be a skill. Honestly, Blake is doing what he has to do to get his team the W. Teams are gonna learn that they'll have to tone down their aggressiveness at times because guys are out there flopping. It's a good IQ play IMO.Comment

Was it even debateable of course Cp3 is the best pg in the game.. not just form this game but his body of work.. he's a general in the sense that no other pg has been in a while..
Something needs to be done about Blake Griffins wack flopping all of the time.. its disgusting. Talented player but thats just garbage
Good Iq play..lol good one.Comment

Yep. I honestly hope he can get a ring or two, because he's on pace for HOF numbers right now, if he doesn't already fit some of the criteria. He just probably needs a ring because of the uncertainty w/ his career length.Comment

Dude, I live in Chicago haha, so I can't even mention CP3 in the same breath as Rose it seems, without getting laughed at and looked at funny. I can understand guys showing hometown love, but dudes here almost overlook CP3. I hope being in LA puts him on that platform he needs to get recognized more. Was it even debateable of course Cp3 is the best pg in the game.. not just form this game but his body of work.. he's a general in the sense that no other pg has been in a while..

Blake's getting the calls (flops) because he's Blake Griffin. Did you not see where he literally threw himself to the floor after he got a rebound out of Kevin Love's hand cleanly? Love didn't do anything. The ref looked right AT THEM....and gave Love the foul. Therefore, reinforcing my point he gets the calls because he's Blake Griffin. Not because of his acting skills (which are atrocious).I know a lot of guys don't like flopping, but if a guy can repeatedly do it and be successful, it has to be a skill. If you want to see a quality flop go look at James Harden in the playoffs last year against the Mavs. That was also despicable, but there was some damn fine acting and manipulation (the ref didn't have a good view) in that flop.Comment

Does that surprise you? Superstars get favorable calls ALL THE TIME, so why complain about it? It's a pointless point to make.Blake's getting the calls (flops) because he's Blake Griffin. Regardless, it's a high IQ play to successfully attempt it.Comment
