Clippers were shooting damn near lights out the first Q.

I'm sure it will get closer but I honestly thought Den would be playing them tougher than this.

Denver is so damn good.

That hard foul by Mozgov was just what Denver needed, and it got into LA's head. Paul's whining, so is Blake and Mo every time they are touched. Meanwhile, no one on the Clips can contain Lawson and Gallo is playing a strong game. Afflalo is showing signs of getting going, which is a great sign.

I was a big Melo fan (more from his Syracuse stint) and adopted the Nuggets as my favorite team when I moved out here in 2004. I have to say, that trade last year was the best thing to happen to this franchise, I think. The team is a joy to watch ... reminds me of a college team (in a good way) with how unselfish all the guys are.

^^^^That's still insane to see/think about. That you lose a guy like Carmelo and it can potentially be the best thing that happened to your franchise. You're telling the truth though, cause this team is waaaaay better than any Nuggets team they've had during the Melo era.

It's cool to see the Nuggets succeed in the regular season without Melo, but the Melo teams weren't bad either and made it to the WCF, lost in a tough series with LA. They won one playoff game last year.
