When Wilson Chandler returns, who gets benched?

Gallo, Affalo, or...Chandler? Pretty sure Chandler will start on the bench initially but once the playoffs hit, what do you think the Nuggets starting lineup will be?

If chandler is able to return to the form he was before he left, my guess is Afflalo will be sharing 6th man duties with Andre Miller. Gallo has been big for the Nuggets this year, and to reward him by benching him when it counts would be a slap in the face IMO.

HELL, Wilson Chandler get's benched. I know he's a decent player but were not talking about Kobe or Wade here. It's Wilson Chandler. The Nuggets have too much chemistry going right now and to just plop Wilson in the starting lineup at playoff time would disrupt that chemistry. You go with the guys who got you there when the playoffs come around and not the guys who were there for half a season.

Start Afflalo and Gallinari and have Chandler come off the bench. There is no way Gallo is coming off the bench this year, and Afflalo isn't really best suited for coming off the bench.

I expect Chandler to get the minutes Corey Brewer and Birdman is getting.

Not an issue. Using ESPN NBA Trade Machine, we're 1 million over the salary cap.

The one mistake Orlando made when they got to the Finals was inserting Jameer Nelson into the starting lineup in the '09 Finals, which screwed up the entire team chemistry.

The guys on the Nuggets are playing TOGETHER right now. They have to work Wilson Chandler INTO that chemistry. Forcing him into the lineup will screw that up.

So really, it's Chandler that should be on the bench. First, he has to get used to NBA speed and competition anyway. He'll be in shape, probably better than the Nuggets team at the time, but he won't be in NBA game shape more than likely. After that he should get more minutes. But really, He should be the 6th man unless the team benefits from him starting.

So other teams can't offer him a contract? You know like how the Golden State Warriors offered DeAndre Jordan a huge contract and the Clippers chose to Match the Offer? Can't another team offer him some $ and DEN might not accept?

Only before March 1st. Jis contract with his Chinese team may not be up by then.
