In all seriousness though, why can't we appreciate what Lin is doing NOW? Guys here are looking forward to his downfall, his decline, etc.
Let's just enjoy the show, and worry about the ending when we get there.Comment

I thought the Knicks should have never GOTTEN Carmelo to begin with. And I thought that if they WERE hell bent on getting him, then get him through free agency and don't give up all the pieces needed to make the team work. And I thought that they should trade Carmelo well before Jeremy Lin made any appearances.
This is just icing on the cake. They should explore trading him regardless.Comment

Didn't think too many people would notice.
I mean, since he plays in Detroit after all and who cares what goes on there, right?

To be fair watching games at the Palace it looks like it's full of only the players and coaches immediate families. That joint a ghost town now.Comment

Greg Monroe is messing up the plan right now.
We have to go on a 8 game losing streak to offset this winning streak now.Lions, Tigers, Pistons, Michigan

Re: NBA Game Discussion Thread 2/05/12 - 2/11/12
I still don't get how dudes think he's a fluke.
I mean, this guy just outscored Kobe at the Garden. AT THE GARDEN. Also, excluding his 2 threes, 10 of his 11 made shots are in or around the paint. The 11th is just outside, I think. These aren't just jumpers that are falling; he's getting to the rim and to the line effectively.
The key is, how are they gonna handle Melo coming back? You think the Knicks aren't gonna tell him to rest as long as possible? LOL Melo better refine his game.Comment

I could easily say the Bulls weren't THAT relevant when we were hanging our hats on Captain Kirk and Ben Gordon. But hey, I don't remember exactly.Comment

I'm not sure that he is or isn't. I see a lot of things in his game that I like, and that are sustainable. So that's a good thing.Comment
