How much longer do you think Brooks has to figure it out? I say if they get swept in the playoffs he out this year, if they make it to a game 6 in the conference finals they will keep him for next year.

There is no question he has a passion for the game and wants to play it's just his maturity that could hold him back. The good thing with Cousins though is that he is still very very young and has time to put it all together. Coleman just gave that impression that he just didn't really care and was playing the game just because he was good at it and was getting paid for it. Damn shame Coleman wasted that once in a lifetime all time great level talent.
No doubt. Talent wise both are very different. Coleman was an all-star player waiting to be a superstar. Cousins is just an average big man waiting to be an all-star big man.

I dont know if they'll get swept.. doubt it

Its a chance they could lose with what 24th is saying... that late game execution will burn you in the playoffs...

If they do get put out too soon, look for Brooks to be on the hot seat

Honestly the only way I see any chance of him not coming is if they flame out and not make the playoffs and we know that's not going to happen. This is just his third full season as the head coach. I think they give him at least two more years unless something crazy happens.

Like 23 and PrettyT11 (we gotta get you a nickname, just don't feel right calling you Pretty lol) said, I don't think he'll be out this season, even with a first or second round loss. He would go into next season on the hot seat for sure, but being completely out is a little much at this point. I think the timeframe to look for with regards to Brooks' job would be next season. An early exit or any sort of sweep next season could ultimately cost Brooks his job. The players still like him and listen to him so that'll play a factor as well.

Hamilton update: Thibodeau said Rip Hamilton, who is dealing with an undisclosed family issue and working through leg injuries, would return to the team “shortly.”

Hamilton has been a disappointment thus far.

But as long as he's healthy and producing come Playoff time then that's all that matters.

Unless Hamilton is 100%, the Bulls don't need him right now. Fortunately, Brewer has improved offensively and he's holding the fort down at the 2-guard.
