Quote " "Everybody knows that. You [media] guys may give it to [Bryant] like you've given him everything else his whole lifetime, but this is the Diesel's ship. So ... if you ain't right [physically], don't be trying to go out there and get right on our expense. Use the people out there, then when you get right you [can] do what you do."

Nice support for your team mate going through the hell of a rape trial there Big Fella

Time for these two to move apart...every man and his dog knows they hate each others guts.

Shaq is right, and that's all there is to say. Shaq knows its his team, Kobe has no business coming back from his legal issues thinking he owns and can do whatever he wants.

He reminds me of that kid he doesnt go to any practices or workouts over the summer, but expects to be the best player on the team..

Shaq does make a valid point, but i think most of that was said out of sheer frustration at having to talk about Kobe's "love life" every time he sees a microphone.....he'd be better served spending his time learning to make a few free throws though

Shaq's right on this one. Just like Kobe was right last year when Shaq came in out of shape.

Kobe should ease his way back in and not force it.

Re: shaq and his mouth again

phil jackson should have been saying that. not the hypocrite that is O'neal.

He is the one that has spent half his career out of shape and trys to get in shape at the expense of his teammates throughout the whole season.

You dont rip a player committed to being in shape for coming in out of shape because off season surgery (and other self-induced problems) eliminated offseason workouts. The same self proclaimed most dominating big man got his *** handed to him by Tim Duncan and the only reason the lakers had to get karl and gp was the slipping performance from shaq. if they had won 3 times with no suppport, what changed? Shaqs fat ***.

I dont disagree with the message of telling kobe to tone it down, but please let it come from jackson, payton or malone, not from Shaq, an under-achiever with only one mvp as the most dominating big man ever for the past 10 years.
