He said "He doesn't need to take 18 shots with Amare on the court", basically insinuating that he didn't get Amare the ball enough.

I'm sorry but Lin needs to score for this team to be effective. If Novak is not hitting his outside shot, who else is going to score other than Amare? And Amare isn't the same player he was last year. He has almost Zero lift. He barely dunks the ball and Chandler gets up way higher than him, as evidence during Alley Oops which Amare has none.

Sometimes your guys aren't going to hit their shots everynight that's why the turnovers are so big.

Lin had 8 turnovers in the first half. Which ended at 43 to 39 in the Hornets favor. The 2nd half he only had 1 turnover. the game was lost in the 2nd half and not because of the turnovers. Hornets played great ball tonight. Hats off to them.
