Why the hate towards a specific player?
The recent target is Lebron and he has screwed up a lot but come on who hasn't? It was Kobe before him and maybe Jordan before him, I wouldn't know as I didn't follow NBA then. These guys pretty much give their everything to their career, they go through injuries which is pretty tough, they get back only cause they want to win, they play their hearts out and still get a lot of hate.
As a human we should learn to appreciate these players for what they are and what they have given to us fans and the league. I know there are a few people out there who appreciate but still hate some players, which is confusing, but there are some people who hate them just because they do not play for the team they root for.
Back in 2005 to 2010 I myself hated Kobe just because he was always compared to Lebron and being a Lebron fan I hated Kobe for no reason. Then I saw how Kobe struggled in game 7 of the 2010 finals and yet he was out there in the 4th for the Lakers knocking down shots he missed all night and then I thought this guy is an amazing player out there and I hated him, I was a fool. Kobe showed what he could do to win and he won my respect. After that I have always appreciated Kobe though I am still a Lebron fan and I never hate on a player.
The next victims of the hate I think will be Durant and Rose. They are amazing players and if they do not win you are going to see people turn them on too. Then there is going to be a new kid in the NBA who would just be rising into his career and would get his team to a new level but he might not win either and fans would root for him first and start hating him if he makes a mistake on or off court or does not win.
