    Jeremy Lin Out 6 Weeks

    NBATV just stated Jeremy Lin is out 6 weeks. Left knee meniscus in left knee, requires surgery.

      Well at least the injury is legit. Hope he recovers well and can be back for the playoffs.

              If the Knicks makes the playoffs, Lin sits on the bench. If the PG's remaining falter and the Knicks miss the playoffs, Linsanity continues in the offseason.

                          He's young so he'll be ok

                          If Z-Bo tore up his knee and came back as fast as he did, Lin will be fine

                          Crazy how all the injuries rack up so often though in the league now

                                  An unfortunate setback. The shoes these guys wear nowadays are not safe. You rarely saw knee injuries when guys were wearing Chuck Taylors.

                                      Can you elaborate about this? This is the 1st time, I've heard somebody talk about Chuck Taylor's and knee injuries.

                                          The tighter the shoe fits, the more pressure it puts on the other joints in the body. The knee just happens to be one of the weakest joints. Chuck Taylors are more loose-fitting than these flashy modern shoes.
