Ya, it's just the way the ball bounces sometimes. It is kinda fishy, but I don't think the L is fixed in any way. I don't think the L wants the Kings to win actually. They are in one of the smallest markets, and would get the least amount of $$ from them winning. The ideal matchup for the L, if they were to fix it, would be to get the Lakers and the Knicks or Bulls to the finals. That way, tons of people will watch, and they'll get crazy $$ from it all.

ShaKobe hit it on the head...if they were fixing things the NBA office would want a top TV market in the finals. As good of a team Sacramento is, I don't think that they'd bring in viewers on TV like a LA-NY final or something like that. Though I don't think the league could fix the season to get the Knicks to the finals

Ya, that would be an act of god.

You guys have to take into consideration that the L does keep these things in the back of thier minds while making a schedule. Not saying that its fixed but they certainly would have a higher rating in a Webber vs. Dallas/LA game than a Webber-less team vs. Dallas/LA. They create schedules based on tv ratings thats why the Miami Heat, Atlanta HAwks, and the Raptors will never play on Christmas until they become a team to watch.

All I'm saying is since the schedule was made after his injury, they more than likely created Sacremento's schedule based on his return.

I was about to say something about Christmas games being about nothing but good rematches from the previous season until I saw this seasons schedule.

                  Cleveland vs Orlando

Is Lebron really hyped up THAT much? Is the Eastern Conference really that bad that New Jersey vs. Detroit is not good enough for Christmas?

There are a lot of things that go into creating the schedule for an NBA season. You have to get all the conference teams to play each other at least 3 times a year (4 times for the western teams, 3 for some east teams cause of the odd number), then you have to play the other conference teams twice a year, and you have to make sure that other events aren't happening at your venue. There is just so much going on.

Target dates, such as marque games, are also thrown into the mix. Things such as opening night/week matchups, holiday matchups, and end of the year matchups. It's a tough job for the one that makes the schedule.
