The More I see this Mavs team......
The more I hate the Antoine Walker trade. They look horrible. Finley looks lost. Nash hurt his shoulder tonite. I think we should have just went with what we had. The Jamison deal would have been enough. It's going to be a while before the trade pays dividends."Never trust a big butt and a smile."-Ricky Bell

Re: The More I see this Mavs team......
I think that the Jamision trade is where they messed up at......if they would have known that Walker was available, they could have possibly kept Van Exel and get Walker. -

<hr /></blockquote><font class="post">nah, I think I'd rather have Jamison over Walker so far. He's shown to be a scrapper. His shot is lightening quick and he bounces back up off the floor so fast. He's looking amazing but he's not getting minutes he should be. To make this work, somebody's minutes are going to have to be cut and I think that person is going to be Finley. Van Exel was a luxury that we really can't afford if they have any plans of resigning Nash after the season. I understand why both trades were made but I'm not sure if it was best for the organization.
I mean the Wizards are shooting 50% from the field in the first half tonite. They are about to lose to the friggin Wizards!"Never trust a big butt and a smile."-Ricky Bell

Re: The More I see this Mavs team......
Finley was way off. He was throwing bricks up there and Dirk was cold as well. Washington was making some crazy *** shots from the outside. They made shots that they normally would not make and set an all time franchise record for 3s. Dallas had more points in the paint, but Washington was just extremely hot. Ill bet that next time they play ,in Dallas, the Mavs blow them out. I cant see Washington shooting freakin 50 percent from the field again(pretty much all of the shots were from the outside)
The Mavs offense will gel. Walker and Jamison look very good so far this season. The players that are hurting Dallas are the big 3, but you can believe that they will come around.
I hope Nash's injury that forced him out in the first quarter is not serious.Comment

Re: The More I see this Mavs team......
I think the whole team right now is way off. They look like they're not sure of what they're gonna do. And no one seems to be stepping up and taking command.
plus, tonight they just sucked all around.
the wizards asked them if they wanted to defend the three.
the mavs just said "nah, not interested buddy."
When are these guys gonna learn not to leave people wide freaking open behind the 3pt line? This is what they've been doing the last few years. Apparently tonight they were so worried about the wiz' inside presence and scroing ability that they decided to go ahead and let whoever wanted to shoot 3's shoot them.
I think they will start gelling though.I'm sofa king, we Todd Ed.Comment
