He's been fine post-AS break. Before the back thing he had some big games with a lot of explosiveness. Since coming back these last couple of games he's had plenty of bounce.

He still looks a little out of sync and rusty but his legs are definitely there.

I'm sick of hearing how "tough" the western conference is.

1-8 from top to bottom in both conferences = negligible difference. I might even give the nod to the east.

I don't think its top to bottom, I think its more teams that people can see coming out of the conference. Most people can't see anyone besides the Bulls or Heat coming out of the East but they see the West as more wide open with the Spurs, Thunder, Lakers, Grizzlies and Mavs all seen as teams that could make a run, with maybe even the Clippers in there.

Cheers to a great season guys. It's been a blast as usual here. Best thing that's happened to my NBA viewing over the years is finding the OS basketball forums. They never disappoint either way, entertainment, frustration, anger, annoyance, complete lack of faith in humanity, etc.

On another note, even though it's only for the regular season how impressive for the Bulls and Spurs? If someone would have told me 2+ years ago when the Lakers, Celtics and Cavs were dominating the league that the Chicago Bulls and San Antoino Spurs would finish as the two best teams (record wise anyway) in the NBA in back to back seasons with near identical records both years (identical in one) I'd have called them a liar and maybe spit in their face. What a difference a few years make.

Shaq says that NY-Miami will basically be a Battle of Legacies between Lebron(the whole ring deal)and Melo(has been out the 1st rd once in his career), anyone agree with that?

Not really cause no one expects the Knicks to win this series at all even without Melo's playoff record.

You might? Lol, go right ahead sir.

                      Orlando, Atlanta, Philly all blow

In the West bracket I wouldn't say anyone blows. Maybe Utah, but they have a lot of talented bigs and an awesome home court.

We have a 7th seed which we're seeing as a championship contender, that's how deep is the western conference.

As mentioned above, you can't possibly think Atlanta, Orlando, Philly and some may even say NY, actually have a shot at getting to the finals.

Congrats to Durant. The youngest player(23) to win 3 straight scoring titles. It's really crazy how good he is at only 23. I can't wait to see how much better he can get.

I think this year he's mastered almost all the tools necessary to be the best player in the game. Now it's time for the mental battle.
