I agree with him. This is a chance for Melo to do something that people will remember for a long time. I'm not saying that I would use it against Melo if the Knicks lost. But if they won the series, Melo legacy gets a huge boost and at the same time creates a lot of negative media attention for the Heat.

      Orlando, Atlanta, Philly all blow

In the West bracket I wouldn't say anyone blows. Maybe Utah, but they have a lot of talented bigs and an awesome home court.
We can keep going back and forth about which is the better Conference but the bottom line is this:

The West has 5 teams that have a realistic chance at winning the whole thing and the East has 3, maybe 4 but that's a big maybe.

All I'm saying is really, there's only one easy team out West. If you want to call the Jazz easy.

If you can't beat the Hawks, Magic or 76ers your team is a ****ing joke.

I wouldn't say the same thing for any of the matchups in the west, except maybe SA/Utah.

I think that speaks enough about the caliber of the conference, not speaking on the contenders, just the overall conference. NY is a hell of an out. Boston will be a hell of an out. They have three or four teams that are as tough as any team in the west. That's not my point though...

I thought it was a known fact that the West is better than the East. In terms of good teams depth.

ex, the Clippers, Jazz and Denver have no shot at winning a title. They're good teams, but not championship caliber. I think Memphis is a great team but I don't think they have enough to win it all.

            Chicago, Miami, Boston
SA, LAL, OKC and maybe DAL because they are defending have a shot.

            The rest is a wash.

Just curious how you guys derived this "****ing joke" category, and what criteria the Hawks met to fall into it
