I like how the Pistons are aggressively pounding the ball inside and getting to the free throw line more often than they had last season. Plus the team is sparingly using full court pressure to try and force turnovers to get easy baskets. These things will definitely help the Pistons score more points.
And one thing's for sure: Rebounding will certainly not be a weakness with this group. Everyone on the team is helping out on the boards and it's paying off. The worst rebounding margin so far has been -3 against the Miami Heat (DET's 40 to MIA's 43), but the Heat shot at such a low percentage that it really didn't matter.
Also, I like the way the team is looking for every opportunity to push the ball down the court. The flurry of fast break baskets near the end of the second quarter of the Magic game last week was great to see. Now if the Pistons can consistently run that well in longer spurts without getting sloppy on the defensive end, they'll be very tough to beat.
