Re: WESTERN CONFERENCE SEMI- FINALS THREAD
The Clippers cannot shoot free throws or rebound well and this will haunt you in the playoffs against quality teams. I am not surprised to see the Clipper struggle against the Spurs, a team that has won 4 championships in 13 years and does so many things good, however I still have confidence they will get better with time. Most teams will struggle against the Spurs especially a team like the Clippers that has no playoff experience and so many flaws. The Spurs do not have the best players but they have a lot of good players and the best management and coach in the NBA.
Clipper fans have been have long suffering, however the future looks bright now that they have Paul.Comment

Re: WESTERN CONFERENCE SEMI- FINALS THREAD
Like I said before, the Clippers have a ton of decisions to make
They have like 7 or 8 free agents and then they have to decide if they're going to can Vinny.
Their future is bright with CP3, Bledsoe, Blake and Jordan but outside of that they have some tough decisions to make on their veteran rotational players.Comment

Re: WESTERN CONFERENCE SEMI- FINALS THREAD
Why would they can Vinny? He got them to the playoffs and the 2nd round. Not saying it's you, but the VDN hate I see on the internet is up there with the Javale McGee hate. The guy to me, sounds like an intelligent guy in his interviews and post game conferences. He sounds like he has a fire for the game and wants to win. I don't see why the Clippers would get rid of him.
The problem with the Clippers is they don't have enough offense on the floor. Reggie Evans is great as a role player, but when he's closing games out for you, you're going to struggle. Foye can't really create his own shot too well and the other bigs are very limited offensively. Paul is the only one who can create consistently.
Anyway, my only concern is the Spurs may have peaked too early. They have been playing amazing basketball for quite awhile now. Can they sustain this torrent pace? I hope so, but we'll see.Comment

I personally would let Vinny coach out next year with a full training camp and a normal regular season.
Vinny has been on the hot seat his entire coaching career, whether or not that's his fault is up for debate. It's a good discussion.Comment

Re: WESTERN CONFERENCE SEMI- FINALS THREAD
Spurs obviously have the better team but i believe the 24 - 0 run could of been handled better by del negro. The spurs when healthy remind me somewhat of the 90's era bulls teams in that its like a nagging road block for many teams. Its like you have to wait your turn untill some of these guys retire.Comment

Re: WESTERN CONFERENCE SEMI- FINALS THREAD
Its no reason to keep the guy... again just like Spo, he's not some kind of genius. Getting to the playoffs should've been automatic with the kind of healthy roster this team has.
Main thing is, when you top out and can't take the guys any further its time to go. Even Larry Brown with his control freak self knew this
Its not even about this game, you can see minus a brilliant player what does he do as a coach that make you see how he affects this team in such a major way?Comment

But seeing how people don't think he's a good coach anyway then it shouldn't be hard to run off some names then.#RespectTheCultureComment

Re: WESTERN CONFERENCE SEMI- FINALS THREAD
LOL at these ****ing BS calls Kobe is getting on his jump shot attempts. That's 3 times the last 2 games he's been blocked cleanly and drawn a foul.
Nonsense.Originally posted by bradtxmaleI like 6 inches. Its not too thin and not too thick. You get the support your body needs.

Re: WESTERN CONFERENCE SEMI- FINALS THREAD
And then I ask who are these available Coaches that can get this team past the 2nd round aka Coaches better than VDN? Because if you're going to fire him, then you better be able to find someone who can do a better job, especially with this team.
But seeing how people don't think he's a good coach anyway then it shouldn't be hard to run off some names then.
Thats my point... there are coaches with better resumes and are better at either preparing or getting the most out of their guys
So if you want a name, i've given you one as a replacement... Jerry Sloan if he's availableComment
