Going back to my original point, it's hilarious how you guys make such a big deal out of Blair/Bonner. Two guys who barely play. The series will be won or lost regardless of their contributions or lack there of. If the series comes down to whom plays more minutes out of the two, then maybe SA doesn't deserve a title at all. Lol.

Anywho... good to see OKC take care of business.

Classic Pop to keep everyone's minutes down and concede the game early.

Not sure when Bonner and Blair even got their PT but the game was over after 3 and that threw the numbers for a loop.

Playing Thabo more minutes worked. Scotty, it really isn't that hard. Fisher and Perk should get around 20 minutes, everyone else should get the rest of the PT.

Oh HEY! Durant took the most shots, Westbrook barely turned the ball over and had a hefty amount of assists. Obviously these factor do not always = win, but this should happen more.

It's like someone who probably hasn't watched nearly as many Mavs games as you coming in here and telling you Brendan Haywood does nothing wrong and is a matchup nightmare....lol....

It's really not a big deal though, I just laughed at it and move on...im more concerned with Game 4 than the Red Rocket.

We need that game.

Yes, because calling him a "matchup nightmare" is rational. There are only three matchup nightmares in the NBA (LeBron, Dirk and Durant) and Matt Bonner doesn't fit that category.

Also, series can definitely come down to role players. Do the names Robert Horry, Bruce Bowen, Dennis Rodman & Sam Cassell ring a bell?

Anyway, Spurs need to answer the bell tomorrow night. I'm a little concerned with Timmy Duncan. His poor play last night was reminiscent of last postseason against Memphis. He starts front rimming a ton of his jumpers when he's leg weary.

I said Bonner was a match-up nightmare, but you all took that out of context and didn't read why I said that. Any stretch 4 is a nightmare match-up...or should I say, a problematic match-up. Especially for opposing big men who don't like coming out on the perimeter and chasing shooters around. So yes, in that sense he is a nightmare match-up. Not saying he's that skilled or anything, but the simple fact that he can shoot makes him a problem for opposing big men. Then add the fact that if you close out too hard on him he can put the ball on the floor and make a play, that takes opposing PFs out of the game, spaces the floor for the offense, and generally does good things for your team.

I shouldn't have called him a nightmare for opposing big men, but he is a problem. You have to respect him whenever he is on the floor. Do you have to respect Dejuan Blair? Or can you roam around and not worry about him? You can't roam if you're guarding Bonner. Of course, Blair is a better rebounder, so you have to box him out and keep him off the glass. But whatever. I would rather have a floor spacer than a rebounder, especially with guys like Manu and Tony Parker on the team. But if Dejuan gets some minutes next game I won't be mad either.
