Re: 200 pts by a single team

"On Saturday, in the team's second exhibition game, the Lightning defeated the Missouri Hawks 215-103. Leading scorers on the evening for the Lightning were Chris Allen with 29, Tom Coverdale with 27, and Kevin Frey with 24. "

The highest scorer had 29 points? Thats it?

Did everyone on the team score in double figures? wow.

You know it's a shame when a minor league basketball team can score over 200 points in a single game, but most NBA teams which are suppose to have the best of the best players in all of the world. Need to go into overtime just to score in the 80s or even in some cases the 70s.

First of all, youre overexaggerating. I dont think Ive ever seen an NBA overtime game where the score was in the 80's or 70's. Second of all, you really think the NBDL defense is nearly at the level that NBA players are at? I bet you that shooting during an NBDL game is like shooting in practice.

I think Ronnie Fields plays on that team as well. At least, he has for the past 5 years or so.

And for those that don't know who Fields is, he was one of the greatest high school basketball players ever. He played at Farragut Academey in Chicago with Kevin Garnett (a year behind) and was expected to go pro the next year just like KG. However, a horrible automobile accident following his senior season, in which he broke his neck, ended any chances of him getting drafted.
