Guys your man hood wont be challenged answer his question, cause all of us have eyes!
BBall aint about muscles, thats why these bricklayers nowadays score so low.
Don't get me wrong I know the stronger you are the more control and endurance you have for any
shot. However many guys need to practise more on their shot than lifting weights.
I started lifting weights heavy one year because I was going from FRO/Soph to VARSITy and I played
Center at 6-2 170 pounds. I gained 15 pounds of muscle and my shot was great. I did not however
lift heavy during the season. The running, drills and cardio would put way to much strain on my
body. A weight lifter cannot play bball 5 days a week and compete unless he is on that stuff.
Magic, Bird, DR J, Kareem, Ice Man etc etc were not muscular but they were Ball players. Weights
do prolong carrers too maybe Barkley and Bird would have played longer.
Weights seem to be overdone or underdone by most, finding your body needs is crucial.
By me being 6-2 185 pounds was an idea weight but then I wanted to be 220!
