Are you really calling Jordan's team stacked? Maybe the Lakers, but that team was built mostly through the draft. Did Jordan make a deal with Isiah to come to Detroit??? Did Magic make a deal to bring Bird to Los Angeles??? Jordan had Pippen and that's it. The rest of those guys could never carry a team. And the Bulls were built through the draft as well. The guy got his ring, good for him, but the greats didn't have to join forces to get theirs. They won by building championship squads thru free agency and the draft and most of them had to go through their "Boston" like Lebron did... but they didn't join the "Avengers" to do it.

What if Wade / Bosh went to Cleveland? People would whine saying Bron needed their help.

I'm sorry, Jordan's teams were stacked too. Pippen, Rodman, etc

I think I meant to quote the post above you.

Rodman??? really... Rodman could never carry a team. If Jordan didn't keep him in line, he would've never behaved in Chicago. Rodman wouldn't even flourish in today's league with the league being offensive minded and all. Not to mention every touch is a foul. The Bad Boy days are done.
Shaq played with Kobe when he was a rookie. Kobe didn't have any NBA experience, so what are you even talking about? Shaq left a loaded Magic team and joined a lesser team for money and the chance to play for a legendary franchise. Even though Kobe was hyped, there's no denying that was Shaq's team.

I wanted to see if this grew any legs on it's own but it really is just a combination of a couple of other already existing threads. Please use search before starting a new thread. The HUGE Lebron thread is the first one I would've looked at for this since it's clearly just another angle to talk about him.
