It seems to happen a lot more in the NFL...didn't Joe Horn leave NO for ATL? Lol

I'm happy Ray is no longer on the Celtics. He and Rondo have had beef for years now, and now the team is tough 1-15.

It was fun while you were here, but no more rooting for your whiny ***.

Boston upgraded with Jason Terry imo. Terry hasnt had a better overall career obviously, but JET is better than Ray Allen right now

Im still trying to understand why Dallas let Jason Terry go for that contract. It makes no sense to me.

They let a lot of people go to free up cap space and tax dollars for the simple fact that they wanted to sign D-Will and then eventually get Dwight Howard to come play with D-Will, but that didn't happen lol so they got screwed.

Except JET didn't officially go to Boston until after D-Will said he wasn't coming to Dallas. Dallas could've easily matched that offer.

Celtics are apparently serious contenders for Courtney Lee. Going real guard heavy this offseason it seems.

I don't care what anyone says,

That Bos-Miami "rivalry" is one of the best things in basketball right now.

...And it should get better next season.

Rondo was rumored to be traded every season at some point, Pierce was offered to the Nets for their first round pick but they took the deal for Gerald Wallace, KG was offered to ATL at the deadline for Josh Smith.

None of them seem to have an issue with sticking around, they seem to understand its a business.

Ray Allen seems incredibly whiny and butt hurt in all of this, if he can't understand why KG was the focus he has some issues, you take KG off this team and its awful, you take Ray Allen off this team and they're still in the running for the 2 seed in the East.

I think Terry is a better fit right now but what hurts is losing Allen and not easily being able to fill that void, with his Bird Right's we could have and should have been able to keep him, with him going elsewhere that's just money we can't spend now unless we sign and trade.

Interesting I saw something yesterday saying we were intensifying our efforts for Mayo as well, looks like they really want another 2 guard, my only question is who are we signing and trading to make it happen? If Mayo or Lee get around 6 mil per Bass would be the easiest to make salary match but can't imagine they want to part with him when another 2 guard would be a luxury. If we give Dooling his raise we can give off last year and trade some of our smaller contracts we can probably make salary work but nothing there is particularly sexy so odds are we'll be throwing in some draft picks to make it appealing.

Rondo and Pierce aren't free agents, so what do they have to do with anything? KG wasn't benched, and they didn't bring anyone in who would take even more of his minutes.

If Boston-Miami is considered the best rivalry in the NBA right now then rivalries are truly dead.

What ones, right now in today's NBA, are better? Not talkin historically. Talking recent, modern rivalries.
