My first instinct was Dallas would try to get Scola, but how the heck does he fit? Scola as a back-up? I think Brand would make more sense since he's more of a back-up at this stage of his career. Scola would be one heck of a bench guy though. Make it happen Mavs.

It would be the best offensive big man rotation in the league though. Pretty formidable.Comment

I know this may sound silly. But...
Is there any chance that the NBA has teams hold out on finalizing deals just to keep intrigue and attention on the league during the off season?
With Deron already signing, D12 is the only thing to keep the NBA relevant. So to keep the NBA in the spotlight, have him stay put as long as possible. Seemed like it happened with the Heat before they assembled when most would say they all knew where they were going to begin with it.
I mean, if everybody goes to the team they want and the major players finalize deals from the jump, then what else is there to keep interest in the league until the season. They talk about Dwight on TV and online every damn day now.
Just my thoughts on what I be thinking.Comment

Re: NBA Movement Central 2012 (All Transactions 1st Page)
I think Houston is setting themselves up for a combination of Howard/Bynum/Josh Smith/Harden "Big 3" of some sorts. Call me crazy, but I would take a Bynum/Smith/Harden combo over a Howard/Smith/Harden combo."Maybe I can't win. But to beat me, he's going to have to kill me. And to kill me, he's gonna have to have the heart to stand in front of me. And to do that, he's got to be willing to die himself. I don't know if he's ready to do that."Comment

*Says that now. Signs offer sheet with Heat in four years*
NBA players have killed all traces of faith I have in anything that comes out of their mouthes. Even Derrick Rose can't be trusted for me after what we've seen out of these guys.Comment

So Bulls fans have gone from thinking they were going to sign LeBron, Wade, or Bosh to worrying if they're going to match a $25 million offer sheet for Asik.

Apparently the Rockets team twitter account followed Dwight, J-Rich, Duhon, and Big Baby, and people on RealGM are freaking out.
