But I guess that wouldn't be the first time Gordon strung someone along only to change his mind and leave a team in a bad spot.
Well, Gordon DIDN'T sign the extension, so my guess is that it was all PR propaganda.

Oh, and Ex, that trade was still miles better than the LAL trade. Stop being bitter.

Edit #1: And no way in hell PHX gives up Gortat. Unless they are total buffoons. Gortat is more valuable than Gordon.

I highly doubt this is why, but a theory could be that Gordon has an ego we don't know about, and in PHX he is the main man because NOH is all about Anthony Davis right now

Haha I'm for sure not being bitter! I'm saying they had better get a sign and trade.

I wasn't even bitter when #basketballreasons happened initially...

And there aint no way Gortat is more valuable than Gordon. In any capacity. Gortat is an awesome player though.

I'm thinking Gordon was just looking for the first ship sailing out.

Not sure what he thinks he could do with that roster but it doesn't make much sense.

It's good to see someone want to go to a different city but something's not adding up. If he said Indy...then I would be like okay I understand because of his ties there.

            But Phoenix?

            That man wants out.

"After visiting the Suns, the impression the organization made on me was incredible," Gordon said in a prepared statement. "Mr. Sarver, Lon Babby, Lance Blanks, the front office staff and Coach Gentry run a first-class organization, and I strongly feel they are the right franchise for me. Phoenix is just where my heart is now."

Why did they waste 2 months of last season having a damn lockout.

GMs are still signing garbage players to high salaries.

Players are still forcing their way to certain cities.

So many players were lost to injuries because they crammed the season into 6 months only to turn around and have to go through the same crap all over again is just stupid!

I don't think there's much you can do though.. the NBA was heading down this path for a while now..

The poison pill or whatever is hilariously sad.

                          Wow, all this action...

And the Bulls have added Courtney Lee to the target list....

                          -______-

So a little better Ronnie Brewer, who can play some perimeter defense but essentially is a spot up guy. If I remember correctly when he was asked to create in NJ, he wasn't very good at it, at all. Sure he fits in to our defensive scheme, but that's not we need, and has never been our issue.

It's the fact with that if Rose isn't doing everything, the offense is pathetic, and signing Courtney Lee/Derek Fisher/Brandon Roy isn't going to do us a damn bit of good.

Not sure why they seem to think we need to go sign a PG or waste money money on one. Go sign Mike James and concern ourselves with a real need for the future, not a temporary hole that needs to be filled for a season that isn't going to amount to anything anyway.

Moving on. Crazy Eric Gordon developments. Definitely would have never thought in a million years I'd hear a player say, my heart is in Phoenix, but never say never. Devastating for NO unfortunately.

I think Kevin Martin, Scola, Dragic, and a 1st rd pick was going with him as well. Looks good talent wise on paper, but Dragic would have been the only piece to build towards the future and he was in his unrestricted walk year and wouldn't have resigned in NO. Martin was 29, Scola 31, and Odom 32 and damaged goods at the time the trade was proposed.

Yeah that's what I thought.. I don't think we could say who would have done what besides Lamar, but was just pointing out the proposed trade really wasn't that bad.

I don't know how one could say things turned out "miles better" or whatever.
