So Brooklyn is out of the race for AK-47? I am reading that Minny will have cap room after the trade of Wes Johnson... and they plan on using that on AK. That would be quite the interesting deep team. I guess Brooklyn's money does have limits... lol.

CJ Miles finally makes the news.. I'm guessing he'll get a decent contract and not play for the minimum Wanted LA to steal him somehow

C.J. Miles is scheduled to meet with the Cavaliers this week.

Miles is an unrestricted free agent and has drawn interest from several teams since free agency began on July 1.

Smh, I remember some of you Cavs fans getting really hyped for Air Eyenga. Hahaha.

He's looked decent in Summer league though, at least he can finish at the rim.. he has two of the best poster dunks from the entire summer league

That's all he can do though... I remember the scouting tape in the draft. All dunks. Nothing has changed unfortunately.

              Minor trade:
cavs get: Jeremy Pargo and 2nd round pick
              grizzlies get: DJ Kennedy

Food for thought, Minnesota GM David Kahn essentially traded Al Jefferson for Chase Budinger, Malcolm Lee, & cash.

That is no minor trade! The balance of power has just shifted in the Western Conference

I wonder if them signing his countryman Alexey Shved had anything to do with him deciding to sign with the T Wolves.

Good for them on getting AK.

That, probably and the fact that he's about to get 20 million dollars. hahah.

He has made it clear that to come back to the NBA he was going to need to get a payday.. Brooklyn and the Russian could only offer him minimum money, even though it seemed like he was a lock to go there, things quickly changed..

Looks like Kaaaahn has really taken Kevin Love's "I need greatness to surround greatness, or I'm gone" to heart. Lmao

I dont think anyone would consider Brandon Roy & AK--47 ”great” at this juncture.

On a serious note, they have added some depth. They'll be primed to be a fringe playoff team, I wouldn't be surprised at all to see them make it.

The Clippers and free-agent Ronny Turiaf have agreed to a one-year, veteran’s minimum contract worth $1.146 million, said NBA executives who were not authorized to speak publicly on the matter.

Turiaf, a 6-10, 245-pounder, will be a backup power forward and center for the Clippers.

He becomes the fifth big man for the Clippers – behind starters DeAndre Jordan, Blake Griffin and reserves Lamar Odom and Ryan Hollins – the 13th player on the roster.

Turiaf played his first three NBA seasons with the Lakers.

He played for the Washington Wizards and Miami Heat last season.

Turiaf played in 12 playoff games with the NBA champion Heat, seven as a starter.

He averaged 1.9 points and 2.6 rebounds in 10.1 minutes in the postseason with the Heat.
