Re: NBA Movement Central 2012 (Updates 1st PG)
Well it's either you continually add younger pieces or just go all out for the win now. I like the win now strategy personally, you're better off improving when you suck more then now its seems in the NBA. But of course this is LA they'll attract another big star eventuallySaints, LSU, Seminoles, Pelicans, Marlins, LightningComment

Re: NBA Movement Central 2012 (Updates 1st PG)
I guess when you are denied Chris Paul you have to settle for Steve Nash.
If you don't think Nash, Kobe, Pau, and Bynum isn't a title contender then you're just fooling yourself.

Ok, that's what I thought too. Didn't he specifically come out and say he'd never sign with the Lakers because of the history they had with his Suns? What in the ****?NFL: Bills
NBA: Bucks
MLB: Cubs
NCAA: Syracuse

Two words, MIAMI HEAT. You clearly don't need that much bench production to win a chip. All you need is 1 or two guys to hit an occasional shot, and your stars to play like stars.Originally posted by G PericoIf I ain't got it, then I gotta take it

Re: NBA Movement Central 2012 (Updates 1st PG)
I don't know. I don't think LA is the best fit for Nash. They aren't a pick and roll team. They don't have many shooters. It's going to take some work to figure out how that team will work.Comment

Sorry but the Thunder and Spurs will smash the Lakers even if they add those guys.Comment

Re: NBA Movement Central 2012 (Updates 1st PG)
If you dominate enough with your starters you can still win with a less talented bench, like said they'd just need 1 or 2 guys to step up in games maybe like the Heat did.Saints, LSU, Seminoles, Pelicans, Marlins, LightningComment

Re: NBA Movement Central 2012 (Updates 1st PG)
New York was never really a serious option for Nash, he preferred the LakersSuns will get multiple picks from the Lakers, had been talk earlier of two first rounders so my belief is that it is at least the two 1stsNash never wanted to go to Toronto he wanted to be closer to home in Phoenix, he falls into the 8.9 mill exception. Deal is done
