    Yes. Lol also
The Orlando Magic are "increasingly focused" on trading Dwight Howard to the Los Angeles Lakers for Andrew Bynum. Helping the Laker cause is the fact that the team is no longer demanding that Howard agree to a contract extension before a trade is consummated. That is according to two separate reports from today. Have no fear, the Brooklyn Nets have not given up hope and also have a standing offer on the table.

Bleacherreport doesn't belong anywhere near OS. Come on guys

      In other news

The Indiana Pacers are in the market for a backup for Paul George.

Mike Wells of the Indianapolis Star reports the Pacers are interested in both Courtney Lee or O.J. Mayo to fill the role of backup shooting guard for the team.

Wells said the Pacers are “very, very interested” in Mayo and has been their top choice for years. But there may be a snag.

The Pacers have to decide how much they want to pay the former lottery pick and does Mayo mind continuing to come off the bench.

Lee averaged 11.4 points on 43 percent shooting for the Houston Rockets last season. Mayo didn’t start a single game for the Grizzlies last season but averaged 12.6. points per game last year.

George started all 66 games for the Pacers, averaging 12.1 points in the regular season before dipping below 10 points per playoff game in the postseason, where Indiana lost in the Eastern Conference Semifinals.

That's what I complained about pages back. The Bulls act like FA starts on the 11th.

It all just depends whether Orlando wants to piss off Dwight more or not...

On one hand they can make Dwight happy, for once, and move him to Brooklyn... get back Brook Lopez and co. (ugh)

On the other hand, they can ignore Dwight's request, as usual, and send him to Los Angeles for the better deal... Bynum and Ebanks/Goudelock/MWP (who knows)

I'd pick the other hand every day of the week.

I know am LAL Fan, But Why did Dwight OPT IN. If he wanted so bad to go to the Brooklyn nets?

Also Dwight wanted Steve Nash traded to the magic during the season. So maybe this will change his mind about going to the lakers? Also there is the probability of Josh Smith coming to the Lakers.
We don't know what Dwight is thinking ATM.

Well I've heard that the Magic promised things that they now have gone back on... what these things were I do not know. I think its more of him being the face of a young budding team than Brooklyn itself honestly, since he won't be the face in LA with Kobe, Gasol and Nash there already and Kobe told Dwight himself that he'd be the 3rd option, under him and Pau.

So I don't know, things could go either way... who knows.

What is the best deal for the magic?
Obviously the Lakers, or otherwise what would you think?

This same stuff was said when the NASH TO LA rumor broke.

If this year's FA has taught us anything, its this: expect the unexpected.

Well the only place he's said he wants to go is Brooklyn, who won't be able to afford him in the FA next year, I don't think.

Personally, I think LA should stick it out with Bynum, maybe he can mature over this season (long shot) but I would feel better about winning a title almost. Haha

Problem is he may be unable to because of salary restrictions, Magic would end up empty handed on top of that. Would limit him to signing with Orlando again, or a team under the cap. Also, believe this may be the last off season teams can sign and trade, though I may be wrong. I know its going away in this CBA just not positive on what year.

Don't know how this will play out but I imagine in the Lakers/Magic scenario both sides are extremely gun shy

Well that ain't happening again. No way magic lose Dwight without getting nothing in return.

I wish Ray Allen was open to other options than Miami.

Perhaps Chicago or NY. If not, I rather see him just stay in Boston. Is he close to making his decision?

This is what im saying.. I cant stand the chatter from Most Laker fans, and MOST of them are bandwagon hoppers anyway

Its pure ungratefulness, not as if you dont have enough already, now you want to take Miami's plan a step farther and try to throw out another all star team as if you dont have enough already

No matter how much Dwight wants to go somewhere else youre still going to get those throwing out LA rumors over and over and over when its a non story in the first place

The Magic need to rebuild, not take what YALL dont want..we just saw another Kwame proportions trade a day ago now you want to throw in yet another big man when you already have 2 of the 5 or so in the NBA thats worth anything

It never stops and the talk gets old and the NBA is less interesting when this stuff continually happens to 1 or 2 teams

I'd rather see the Clippers in the finals than to see the Lakers again, same old ball riding announcers and same old hype stories... again, Christmas day, I wonder who'll be playing the prime time game.
