    Source In About Dwight Howard.

Pingalore’s sources, who requested anonymity because of the sensitivity of the proceedings, were not ready to name the team that the Magic were trading Howard to at this time. One source told Pingalore they were “very confident that a deal is close to being done.” The parameters of trades can be discussed now, but they can’t become official until Wednesday under NBA rules.

Guess I'm an Island then. lol

I wouldn't call Allen a traitor as well, but it really stings.

What If the heat lose to the Celtics? How embarrassing would that be.

I think Nash to LA was totally understandable.

Ray Allen already has a ring yet Nash doesn't. Steve Nash had to put himself in championship contending team (and wanted to be closed to his kids.)

I guess Ray Allen doesn't believe Boston can beat Miami even when they are healthy.

So he just joined conference rival. I think this move is worse than Nash's. But traitor? Hmmm that's debatable.

It wasn't that he didn't believe that Boston wouldn't beat Miami.
His Relationship with Rondo started to go down. They didn't even talk during the playoffs. He wanted a bigger role instead of coming off screens and shooting. IMO idk what he was thinking it's going to probably be the same in Miami.

There are no more rivalries. That's silly to even put out there by Jarret Jack or by anyone else. LAL and PHX are not rivals either, which is equally as silly.

I do agree that it is a bit off to see Ray switch sides though. Doesn't matter which teams they are, it could be Golden State v Houston for three straight years in the playoffs, if say Steph Curry went to the Rockets in year 4, it would still be a bit strange.

As far as rivalries though, that's made up, that's a thing of the past.

AAU has killed any chance of there being true rivalries in the NBA.

Calling someone a traitor is beyond silly, bottom line.

Isn't Jarrett Jack still playing in the NBA? Why are you concerned with another players moves? lol

Pretty sure that the Lakers and Phoenix are rivals. Every time Kobe plays against them he just goes off.

Soon only the Large Market Teams will matter in the NBA, The Small Market Teams (except for the Thunder the T-Wolves and maybe The Hornets) should just tank in order to get a lottery pick

Oh I didn't know there was some relationship problem in Boston. Well... if things aren't going to be good with people you work with, you do need a change of scenery. I agree.

IMO I can see the NO Hornets being a threat in the future. They got some good draft picks this year.

Ehhh I wouldn't go this far now.

But I agree in that they're aren't really many rivalries left in the NBA(I can probably think of no more than 3)which sucks because you see other sports put a HUGE emphasis on them(as far as the TEAM aspect of it goes) while the NBA just focuses on moreso the Player vs. Player rivalries as opposed to the teams.

Yeah he had issues with the GM and Rondo, but at least we got a good upgrade.
