Very true. He has more miles on his knees now than he did back in 2010 (especially after these Olympics), wonder if that will make him defer to a PG like Nash anymore than one would expect.Ohio State Buckeyes | Carolina Panthers | Charlotte Hornets | Cincinnati RedsComment

Was wondering the same exact thing, just got home and turned on the TV and realized that Matrix somehow managed to drag us into his personal nightmare lol.
I couldn't believe my eyes! Nash to my Lakers!?

I think the respect factor for Steve is my one hope that Kobe will change his approach. I have always thought he would only let guys like Kidd, Nash, Williams etc. handle the reigns.Comment

Hopefully. I'm not a fan of the Lakers, but just like with the Heat, I appreciate good basketball. Seeing Steve Nash orchestrate an offense with Kobe, Pau, and Bynum would be a thing of beauty.Ohio State Buckeyes | Carolina Panthers | Charlotte Hornets | Cincinnati RedsComment

Re: NBA Movement Central 2012 (Updates 1st PG)
If the Lakers are trading for Howard, Bynum, MWP for Dwight and Hedo or J-rich should be enough. ORL gets a C to build around and cap savings. If Im ORL, Id take Bynum over any player NJ would offer.Comment

Do you think he's just gonna suddenly break down?
Dude has kept himself in great shape for the longest time. Unless he has some kind of freak injury there is no reason why his production can't be close to his last few yrs in PHX.Comment

Re: NBA Movement Central 2012 (Updates 1st PG)
It's not like they are asking him to be Derrick Rose or LeBron James. He can orchestrate the offense, and he has Sessions to come in and give him a break when he needs it.
We saw how well veterans can play when their minutes are limited (I.E. Celtics, Spurs). It remains to be seen how that backcourt can hold up defensively, but as far as their offense goes it has the makings of a good one on paper if they can find some shooting to come off the bench.Ohio State Buckeyes | Carolina Panthers | Charlotte Hornets | Cincinnati RedsComment

Re: NBA Movement Central 2012 (Updates 1st PG)
Sportsbuck, Sessions probably isn't coming back.. backup duties will belong to Steve Blake.
I like the idea of having Shard Lewis or like someone mentioned, Antwan Jamison come off the bench or even start.... they would make good fits for Nash..Comment
