Ok so the Lakers trade for Howard...who guards him on the Thunder?

Who guards Gasol off of a Nash and Howard P&R?

If the Lakers trade for Howard now I'm more than ok with his lack of D with a frickin brick wall of defense behind him.

The only fair deal I'd give that loser is his release papers, which he will, which I'm sure will eventually be used as a blunt. Which would come full circle, because clearly the Phoenix Suns are high right now.

I don't see the Magic trading Dwight for historically injury prone Bynum without 3 first round picks.

also, Thunder can't pack it in on Bynum and Gasol either..have to guard Nash because he will hit the jumper..works both ways. Nash gets a wide open jumper he's going to splash it

The Magic have been asking for players & draft picks in return for Dwight, Lakers just traded 2 years worth of picks.

No they'll just get some other sucker team to gift wrap the Lakers Dwight in a 3 way.

And late round picks are virtually worthless.
You typically won't find more than a role player with those late firsts but those guys can play a big part for a team, look at the Celtics when they won it all in 2007, they relied a lot on Rondo (21st in 2006) and Perkins (27th pick in 2003) who were both later first round picks and Rondo has become one of the best PGs in the game while Perkins is a solid starting defensive presence at the 5.

Agreed this is the best move for Orlando if they can get him to sign an extension, he may be a headcase but he is the best big man they can get to replace Howard.

Id take Bynum without picks over Lopez with picks. Bynum, as the #1 option, could be great for a team, I dont see that with Lopez.

Hmmm ironically similar to what the Nets are trying to do right now as well....

Wonder if Fish might join back up with LAL, too.

Not until Bynum tears a ACL.
